    The service guy, Bill, satisfactorily installed a light switch, which he supplied. The cost was $345 for one light switch installed and the bill was not itemized to show parts and labor. I later received two separate estimates from local electrical service companies and both were $150. A difference of $195. I'm retired and on a fixed income so $195 is a lot of money. I'd like to see this discrepancy addressed in a response from the company.

    I had called from work because our 2 year old HVAC system was not working properly. The dispatcher got us a service call within 2 hours of my call. My wife was home when Ryan Newton the HVAC tech assigned to our call arrived. She said he was thorough explained everything offered us a service plan which we were shopping and since my wife was happy with Ryan and the service provided as a whole we bought it. Ryan also made a recommendation on additional ways to preserve our HVAC and provided us an estimate before I got home. Good price, good service I plan to recommend Michael and Son Services to anyone.

    Ryen was great! We have had multiple technicians from other companies come out and work on our HVAC, only for it to keep breaking. Not only did he fix it, but he also made us aware of mold that was growing around the unit. We never would have known without his help, and he walk us through our options to install a UV air filtration system. We will only call Michael & Son from now on, and request Ryen’s services. We also signed up for their maintenance services. He deserves more than 5 stars!

    Our HVAC unit froze outside on Sunday. We immediately shut off the unit and saw it was frozen outside and scheduled an appointment for Monday. In the service request I had stated the unit was frozen outside. KB showed up Monday and was extremely through in his search for the issue which was much appreciated. However, he stated that he would not be able to patch what needed to be done because it would be "against the law" for them to patch the evaporator coil since they were not the ones who installed the HVAC unit. This was extremely disheartening as they had such good reviews and I was hopeful the issue could be fixed. Instead we were told we could purchase a new HVAC unit. Paid almost $100 for the service fee only to be left disappointed.

    Incredible service from start to finish. Our technician, Brian, was extremely thorough and professional. He clearly explained the issue with our HVAC system, provided a detailed diagnosis, walked us through next steps, and gave helpful recommendations moving forward. You could tell he really cared about doing the job right and making sure we understood all our options. No pressure, no upselling - just honest, quality service. We highly recommend Michael & Son’s, and if you get the chance to work with Brian, you’re in excellent hands.
