I discovered LRC several month ago after I encountered an issue with my floors buckling in a newly constructed home. Upon inspection/removal of the flooring, the slab had been improperly prepped by the builder ( no subfloor was laid) , no treatment to seal it and the presence of existing clay, dirt and debris created a perfect environment for mold to permeate underneath my hardwoods. LRC was recommended in addition to a remediation specialist. LRC conducted the most thorough examinations, testings and assessments of the many mishaps my builder was responsible for. Their entire team is top notch, at every step of their process LRC was able to provide clear, concise and accurate remedies to protect my investment. LRC is an independent expert that does not compromise a homeowner...particularly in my case they were my advocate. I can't be more appreciative of all the time, attention and expertise they gave to me as I allowed them to perform their higly specialized work to correct /and make my home safe again. There is no price too high to pay when your health, well-being and peace of mind are at stake. You will not find another company in the Raleigh area that operate as efficiently. *****

The team at LRC are true professionals! They respond very quickly. They are able to not only discover what type of mold but most importantly the source of the growth. They take their time and the report they give provides you the step by step process for eliminating the source and for mold remediation. Highly recommend!

Just called LRC and got pricing info from them (11/4/2020) and she described the process to have them come to my house. $630. OK fine. Talked to Melissa. Asked her how they are different from their competitors. I have never used a mold testing company before. Could not give me any sort of replay. She just said "I don't have competitors" and "just go to the web site". She then said "I just explained everything". Then said "I have other callers waiting". Wow. Going to call another provider. Glad Melissa doesn't need my business. Beware. Note: the response below is correct up to the point that they said i was agressive. Is it abusive to ask what their competitive advantages are? She couldnt name any advantages. I told her i was asking because i never hired a mold testing company before. I was referred to them by another company and thought their web site looked good. $630 was fine with me. I was just really surprised how rude and uninformed the owner's employee was. Anyway, no big deal. I am moving on.

Not only does LRC do a thorough inspection, they explain their lab test results in detail. They did not do the remediation work at the time my house was tested so they weren't there to make money for repairs. If your home was too toxic to repair, they told you upfront. They were so helpful in recommending a doctor who specializes in dealing with patients exposed to toxic mold, in my case; Stachybotrys. They saved my life!🙏
