- KTKen TurcoNov 21, 20221.0Had them install a glass shower door 1.5 years ago. Installation was incorrect. They only took one measurement for width which doesn’t allow for any slight curve of the drywall. When installed it was almost rubbing the tile wall for half of the length of the glass door. Within a month it wouldn’t open. They came out, saw their error and fixed it. But now a year later the door is rubbing on the bottom. Tried unsuccessfully a few times to get in touch with them to see what I could do to fix it. They never got back with me. I did a bunch of youtube searching and found the problem and eventually fixed it myself. They never installed setting block shims within the door hinges. Something that needs to be done but apparently so many glass door companies either don’t know to do it or just don’t bother. Either way it’s been a headache. Go elsewhere.
