  Beyond disappointed. I worked with Ted and his crew for years. He did hundreds of thousands of dollars in work for me and a company I used to work for. I had him install a heatpump and 2 mini splits at my personal residence. He completed all of that no problem except for 1 thing. We were going to cool the upstairs bathroom with a fan using cool air from another room, we were just waiting on a part to come in so that could be competed. I had to call Ted over and over and he forgot to see if the part came in. It did but he continuously forgot to check if it did, or just didn't care one of the two or both. HVAC was installed maybe June or July of 2025. The part came in to finish the bathroom maybe a week or two later. I called Ted over and over only for him to make promise after promise after promise that he eventually had the part and was sending someone out to finish the fan in the 2nd bathroom. Then when he decided he was going to actually do it, 5 months later, he wouldn't do it unless he had some large commercial job in my area. I am in Waynesville so I am not far from his office, I didn't understand why he couldn't run a truck w out this commercial job in my area. That's just being cheap because he's running trucks in different directions 24/7. I am not a pushy person so I didn't say anything. I was just happy that we had correspondence and he was actually talking about finishing my home. He never did. He forgot or just didn't care I'm not sure because I never heard from him when he said I would in Decsmber. I messaged him the other day, he read the message but never responded. I wasn't rude. I would never be disrespectful to Ted as I considered him to be a friend. I never saw any of this coming. Here it is February of 2026 almost 8 months after job started and 95% completion. They've been paid in full since June or July of last year and I haven't heard from anybody at W and W in 3 months. And all of this over an incredibly inexpensive part and a part that wouldn't take but a couple hours tops to install. I'm beside myself but lesson learned. Never pay a contractor before job completion. I went out of my way to make sure he was paid in full ASAP and hoped for the same respect back. I don't like owing people money and wanted to get that off my mind. I didn't understand why I was being treated like crap now yet before, when the business I worked for sent him so much work, he treated me really well. It's because I no longer work w the company that was sending him so much business. He treated me well prior to, because he wanted the business to continue to send him all of their work. He doesn't need anything from me since I am no longer with the company that was sending him business and he's paid in full. I never understood the Google reviews for White and Williams when I worked with the company that sent him so much business, but now I do. And all over a part and job that he might have $500 in total, worst case. I learned a lesson and I will never pay a contractor before a job is complete. Regardless of the relationship or trust level. Google reviews 99% of fhe time are a solid reflection of the business. Believe them or regret your decision like myself.

  Inlaws built a new house. 2nd night staying in the house CO2 alarm starts going off in the morning several times. Find out that the furnace was not installed properly. Tech came out quickly and repaired. Good news is that we didn't die.

  Was ran out of my lane by a GMC pickup truck. (Labeled White & Williams) happened at 4:08 pm, 11/7/2025, near exit 8 on 23 future... you guys also almost hit my wife 3 months ago... do you have dash cams?

  I called this company two years ago because my heat was out and it was cold! They couldn't come quickly, but I took an appointment and continued looking for emergency service, which I found. I canceled my appointment with them and moved on. Just called them today for another outage, and was told they marked my account as non-serviceable because I used somebody else two years ago. I was told that is their policy. My jaw literally hit the floor. Shocking lack of professionalism or customer service. I would look elsewhere for your HVAC needs unless you are comfortable locking in with them for life?!
