Heavily edited because I exceed the character limit originally (I have that much negative stuff to say with details).
With the exception of an employee named Sam, who gave above average customer service, this place is horrible.
Went in to reserve a track skid steer 2 1/2 weeks before I needed it. Was told it was being worked on but would be ready by the Monday I wanted it. Was told I would get a call a 2-3 days before the Monday (which means Wednesday or Thursday as they are closed on the weekend) to see if I still wanted it, let me know if it was going to be ready or not, and to get my credit card info. No call came, so I went in to see about it late Thursday, and to see if I could actually get it for Friday instead of Monday. Lo' and behold, the machine is "being worked on" and it won't be ready for Monday, let alone Friday. I rented a wheeled skid steer instead, which isn't ideal for landscaping, but you gotta do what you gotta do when a company can't get their act together. I asked for it to be delivered on the Friday, and had also inquired if the person delivering it would know how to operate it and give me a quick tutorial (I hadn't used one in ~7-10 years). I was assured the delivery guy could do it. Friday rolls around and the delivery guy (just a random guy from Jardine Auctioneers) didn't know how to drive it and asked me for help to try and get it off the truck. He finally figured out how to move it and lift the bucket; he called me over to show me what he figured out, and in the process of lifting the bucket he hit the door and broke the arm off it. I called United and let them know about the damage. Fast forward ~5 days later of struggling with this garbage wheeled skid steer with bald tires that are cracked and falling apart, and the lock on the door seems to have stopped working; the door either won't close, or randomly seems to pop open when we think it is closed. The inevitable happens and the door pops open while lifting the bucket and the glass door shatters. Fortunately, nobody was hurt, but now we have to deal with broken glass all over the property. I call United to let them know what happened; the response was "it happens" and "you can keep using it if you want". Apparently no chance of exchange (the track one was likely still "being worked on"), and if I returned it now (with 2 days left on my rental) I'd have to get charged if I wanted it back for those 2 days. So it sat on my driveway until Friday 4pm when United was supposed to pick it up (my rental agreement is done). 4:30 rolls around and nobody shows up, so I call United. "Typically the client calls us to tell us to pick it up. I'll put in a ticket to get it towed, but in reality, nobody is going to get to it until Tuesday because we close at 5 and it is a long weekend." So it sat there over the weekend. Once it finally disappeared, I went in to United to settle the contract, expecting an argument as I anticipated that they would try to charge me for the broken door which I attributed to the delivery guy breaking the door shock/arm and quite possibly knocking the door out of alignment so that the lock developed issues. They didn't try to charge me because apparently there was a safety switch that was supposed to prevent the hydraulics from operating with the door open. No idea if the switch was faulty, if it was never installed, or what. So this happened because of your faulty equipment and I lost time in my rental because of it. I know, I know....United was "okay" if I wanted to clean up all the broken glass out of the cab, remove the hanging gaskets and wiper and lock, and then still use it for the remainder of my rental. In contrast to this, I almost simultaneously rented a mini-excavator from A to Z on Prospect. Night and day difference. The delivery guy knew how to operate it, they CALLED ME before the end of my agreement to see if I was done with it or if I wanted more time, etc. Character limit restricts me from going much further. Long story short, United should be avoided at all costs.

Misquoted. Poor customer service. Lame excuses. Won't be going back.
