- DADaniel ArnsanOct 25, 20255.0We just got an unexpected test of my newly installed whole house generator. One day after installation we had a 3 hour power outage where we live east of Superior. Just as described by Tyler on the walkthrough, there was a short pause and the generator kicked in seamlessly and quieter than expected. Barbara and I are extremely pleased with our new system and the Rocky Mountain Power Systems/Big Sky Electric staff members who made it possible. Everyone we dealt with - Eric, Jay, Hannah, Bo, Trevor and Tyler was courteous, professional and competent. We felt that the price was more than fair and the 10% gift card through the Costco special program made it even more affordable and appealing. Electrician, Bo, discovered a defective circuit breaker for Barbara’s pottery kiln and went over 50 miles out of his way on his day off to replace it at no charge. This was not part of the generator installation and was much appreciated. Bo refused to take any money for reimbursement for his time.

Tied it into the homes electrical system so when the grid goes down, generator kicks in and powers up the whole house within seconds. Great equipment and great service. I've recommended them to several others who have also used them and had the same great experience I have.
