I do a LOT of business with them and trust them to do their jobs at a fair price. My clients demand excellence of those I hire on their behalf. If you want the job done right without corners being cut to save a dime, then I highly recommend GVHS to do the job! They are the ONLY heating contractor I have actually been able to reach for an after-hour emergency over a Holiday weekend. You get what you pay for & I will only pay for & hire the best.
- DKDeborah KozisekMay 21, 20181.0Long story short....They did work, WAY over-charged me and didn't do a safety test that should have been done, and didn't tell me. Put me and my neighbors in danger. Tried dealing with them about this, and they were dishonest. Went to the Better Business Bureau (first and only time) and they LIED to the BBB. They said they met with me at my place, and I wasn't even in the state at the time! Check out the attached photo of a straight run of an 8" duct pipe. To install this (only to the wall) they charged me $400!!!! They also did NOT do the negative pressure testing they said they would do when they installed this. They told me that an air make up unit was "needed" but when I asked three other local professionals, I was told one was not needed. I asked them to send me information to justify their charges and the data that contributed to their assessment that an air make up unit was "needed" and not unsurprisingly, they have not responded.
- DPDarren PurcellDec 26, 20171.0If you do not mind paying 10 hours of labor at $90 per hour to install a basic hot water heater then you should hire them. Be prepared for fictitious and deceitful trials and tribulations of how hard your specific water heater was to replace. Total Rip-offs
