  If I could give more than 5 stars; I DEFINITELY would!! My parents had a budget to remodel their home and Cozy Comfort Floors delivered!! Emmanuel constantly checked on the project to make sure everything went smoothly & was in constant contact with us. We had a little hiccup with the kitchen & bathroom tiles after the 1st inspection; but they made sure it was fixed correctly. I can't thank Cozy Comfort Floors enough for all that they did for us!! We are so happy with our remodel!! Thank you Emmanuel, Rigo, Maribel, Chalino, Mike & Mark!! They made us feel like a part of their family.   We paid a large sum to build our new home, and the tile work by Cozy Comfort Floors has been one of the most frustrating parts of the entire process. The grout line in our master bedroom literally curves across the floor. Not slightly, noticeably. It’s so obvious that we can’t even lay a rug down without it drawing attention to the mistake. The master bathroom floor had to be redone three separate times before it was even somewhat acceptable. Even now, the shower stall sticks out about 1/2 of an inch from the wall. We had to push them just to fill the gap with grout so we could paint it and make it less noticeable. There are chipped tiles throughout the shower, and instead of fully correcting the installation, they widened grout lines to try to hide the flaws. It masks some of it, but not all of it. The tile throughout the house is uneven to the point that walking barefoot is uncomfortable, which is especially frustrating considering they used a tile leveling system. In several areas, pieces of that leveling system are still sticking through the grout. The angles and reveals around the fireplace and tubs were initially installed incorrectly. To their credit, they did redo those areas after we pointed them out. However, the repairs were completed with the wrong grout color, so those sections now stand out rather than blend in. They chose to install a transition strip designed for floating vinyl flooring between tiled rooms. An obvious mismatch that shouldn’t happen in a brand-new build. We repeatedly asked for a different installer because of the ongoing issues. They kept sending the same one. We were told that a project manager and a new installer would come out to address our concerns. I took off work to meet them, and when no one showed up, I called. I was then told someone had already come over the weekend. We were never informed of that visit, and many of the documented issues still were not addressed. I sent detailed photos with written explanations outlining every concern. Even with that level of documentation, not everything was corrected. The shower issues in particular remain unresolved. The only reasonable conclusion is that fixing them properly would have required removing the glass surround, and that didn’t happen. All of this delayed our move-in by months. Our family of four was living in a camper during that time. By the end, we were exhausted and just wanted to get into our home. Otherwise, we likely would have demanded even more be redone. It’s incredibly disappointing to invest so much in a new home and feel like we’re left living with workmanship that should never have passed quality control in the first place. Update: The company responded publicly, but has still not contacted me directly despite stating they would. Several of the original issues remain unresolved, including a visibly curved grout line, uneven tile (lippage), inconsistent grout color, and areas where leveling system pieces are still visible through the grout. I also previously took time off work to meet with their team after being told they would be on-site, and no one showed. I am still willing to work toward a resolution, but I expect clear communication and proper correction of the remaining issues.
