My orders are typically billed under a company account and have always been handled smoothly. During my most recent visit, however, I was assisted by a representative named Tristan, who entered my purchase under the wrong account and then requested a credit card for payment. I explained that my purchases are billed through our established company account, but his response came across as dismissive and impatient. He stated that “all Walmart people pay with credit cards,” which isn’t accurate — several of my coworkers use this same account regularly without any problems. When another associate stepped in, they immediately recognized my account and were able to process the transaction correctly without issue. I’m not sure if this was a training issue or a customer service concern, but Tristan could improve his approach by being more attentive and respectful when assisting customers. A bit more patience and professionalism would go a long way toward creating a better experience.
