- BRB RFeb 17, 20261.0Be extremely studious when reviewing Scope of Work on any quote you receive. The units quoted were literally 1/4 the cost of the final quote to install. While there is more work to complete than just the replacement, the final total for parts comes in at ~$5200 for all parts from my local hardware store. When asking for an itemized quote from the company, the person I was directed to said that they don't provide any kind of itemized quote and started listing all of the companies expenses I would be paying for (insurance, labor). Not providing a more thorough quote sounds like a seriously shady business practice. Just read and research before going with this company. As far as I'm concerned after researching and conversing with the sales team, they are charging 115% more than the equipment in JUST LABOR and doubling your final price if you go with them. One addition for the response from the company: DOUBLE+ more for the bullets listed in their comment. They do not deny any of this and quote items as a generic canned response. Reading multiple other comments surrounding this same subject, it does appear that the company continues to stay in business because they know that many homeowners don't have time to shop around and they play on the gullible nature of those that just don't know any better. Buyer beware. SHOP AROUND.
