I have used Flow King many times. On rental property, my home, children's homes and recommended them several times. They performed work such as: stopped us drain, install sewer laterals, replace faulty hose bibs, repair lift station, pump septic systems, and on. They have been very responsive and timely along with fair rates and courteous personnel. Personally they are the only service I call when I need some work done.

Great company with knowledgeable and personable plumbers. Called Flowking because I was afraid I had a collapsed sewer line in a rehab property I purchased. After jetting out the line and clearing some tough debris I was unable to knock loose, they performed a camera inspection and eased my concerns by confirming the complete line was intact. They used specialized gadgets to locate and mark depth along with providing insight on plumbing concerns I had throughout the property. Silvio and Jerrod helped me out BIGTIME.

I was told one amount for a service fee out of area, $120.
They came out for one problem, Frozen water line under my house. I told them it was a crawl space under the house. They acted like they would solve the problem .
They were here for about maybe an hour and took pictures apparently showing us, what...I dont know unless I was under the house and knew what I was looking at.
I was charged $795.00 for them to tell me my water line was frozen and I would need to wait for it to thaw out. They did absolutely nothing. Fixed nothing. Just charged me $795 for driving to my house. Three men came out. What a rip off!!!
Edit. 2/3/2026.
This explanation by the company is full of lies. They were here maybe sn hour. No it's not hazardous underneath of my house I have pictures how clean it is. Complete lies. After floating Rooter left someone else crawled underneath of there and took pictures and showed me how clean it is there isn't anything under there what they're saying. All lies.
I did not decline the $300 refund. Who would do that. Just more Lies.
Go ahead and just refund me the $300 sir thank you.
Frequently Asked Questions About Flow King Rooter Plumbing
What is a sewer line camera inspection and why would I need one?
A sewer line camera inspection is a diagnostic procedure where our certified plumbers utilize high-definition waterproof cameras to examine the interior of your pipes. This method allows us to efficiently identify issues such as blockages, cracks, root intrusions, or collapsed sections without the need for extensive excavation. If you're experiencing persistent drainage problems, frequent backups, or unpleasant odors, a sewer camera inspection in St. Louis is the most effective way to accurately diagnose the issue before it escalates into a more costly repair.
What is a sewer lateral and who is responsible for it?
A sewer lateral is the underground pipe that connects your property's plumbing system to the municipal sewer main. In most instances, property owners are responsible for the maintenance and repair of this section, not the city. Our company, Flow King Rooter Plumbing, specializes in sewer lateral inspections and replacements throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. We are certified to handle Sewer Lateral Insurance Program claims and offer trenchless repair options to minimize disruption to your property.
How does trenchless sewer repair work?
Trenchless sewer repair is an advanced method that utilizes cutting-edge technology to repair or replace damaged sewer laterals without extensive excavation of your property. Depending on the specific condition, we can perform pipe bursting to replace the old line or pipe relining to install a new liner within the existing pipe. This approach is typically more efficient, less disruptive, and more cost-effective than traditional excavation methods, while also providing a long-lasting solution.
How often should I schedule a drain cleaning service?
For residential properties, we recommend scheduling professional drain cleaning annually to prevent accumulation of grease, soap residue, hair, and food particles. Commercial properties or restaurants may require more frequent cleanings, potentially on a quarterly basis, due to higher usage. At Flow King Rooter Plumbing, we employ hydro jetting and advanced drain snakes to effectively clear your lines and restore optimal flow. Regular maintenance is key to avoiding backups and emergency situations in the future.
How long does a water heater typically last?
The average lifespan of a standard tank water heater is approximately 8-12 years, while tankless water heaters can potentially last over 20 years with proper maintenance. Regular flushing, inspections, and timely repairs are essential for maximizing your system's longevity. Flow King Rooter Plumbing offers comprehensive annual maintenance plans to ensure your hot water system operates efficiently throughout the year.
What causes frequent sewer backups?
Frequent sewer backups are often attributed to several factors, including tree root intrusion, damaged sewer laterals, excessive grease accumulation, or foreign objects obstructing the main line. Our camera inspection service can precisely locate the source of the problem and determine whether a thorough drain cleaning or a more extensive sewer repair is necessary. We always provide our clients with video footage and clear explanations to facilitate informed decision-making.
Do you provide commercial plumbing and drain services?
Indeed, we do. Flow King Rooter Plumbing caters to a wide range of commercial clients, including property managers, restaurants, office buildings, and industrial facilities across the St. Louis region. Our services encompass scheduled maintenance plans, emergency response, and same-day service for commercial drain cleaning, water heater issues, and sewer line repairs.
