Nothing but good things to say about this company. Extremely happy with my building and the whole process. Kyle was wonderful to work with, very responsive to messages and very professional. I’m not 100% happy with the concrete company he recommended, so do your own research for that, but LOVE my building. They even worked around the custom doors I ordered and all the issues it ended up causing (took 9 months to get the doors…arrived 4 months after shop was completed). We had one hiccup with the opening for my French doors not being cut to correct specks, but they were very professional and came back and fixed it without issue. Highly recommend this company.

Great group. The framing was so perfect, even the Miami County inspector said it was the best framing he'd seen in years. It only took 4 days once the build started. Will likely use them again on the future for our next project

I spent about a year researching companies and pricing before deciding to go with Michael Hamilton with F&HS. I needed to prepare the pad site prior to building but finally signed a contract on September 9th 2016 with plans to build in early spring of 2017. This was a good decision because it gave us time to confirm and really nail down some details without rushing while prepping the building site. My journey started trying to find a local contractor to build a custom pole barn to match my existing home. My search found that there were a lot of options for cookie cutter metal buildings but this wasn't what I wanted. F&HS was the perfect solution since they build buildings, garages and homes they were able to design and build exactly what I wanted at a competitive price. During the (6) months between signing the initial contract and breaking dirt I spent quite a bit of time corresponding back and forth with Michael. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and never made me feel like I was being a pain which I knew was the case. He was always available and if not he was always good about calling back. Great support on the front end and helped me through the decision process. We finalized the drawings in January of 2017 and then I worked on permitting (Clay County) in February. We broke ground around the first week of March on a Thursday. The first build day I met Michael and Gabe (Construction Foreman) and reviewed the plans. In parallel Michael had met and coordinated the material staging/deliveries for the construction team. Michael also reviewed the materials and corrected a few mistakes with the building materials day 1 so they crew would have everything they needed. Michael also only delivered what the team needed the next few days so siding, doors, windows wouldn't be sitting outside in weather. I really appreciated Michael and all of the coordination. Now on to construction "WOW" rock solid crew Gabe and his crew (4) guys are total work horses. They are true craftsman and I watched them build it was really something to see. They were using levels, pulling strings and took the time to build a beautiful building. One morning I walked out and I saw Gabe measuring the trim on the front of my house to make sure my new building would match exactly. Gabe also arched the top header board of my buildings new garage door openings to match my home. Looks awesome. During the build you could find Michael dropping in and out with materials and checking the drawings. Great team and process. They were finished up the following Thursday by lunch less than a week with about 1/2 day loss due to rain. I walked the entire building and looked high and low the only punch items were a few nails in one piece of siding down on the bottom row that's it. If you are looking for a competitive, local, honest company that can build you a custom building At a reasonable price I would absolutely recommend FH&S and Michael Hamilton. They deliver through the entire process and I can tell you they care and have one of the best building crews with Gabe. My other recommendation is don't rush the process I wanted my building quick but am so glad I was patient.
