The professionals at H-M did the necessary repairs at my wellhead and installed a water treatment system at a reasonable price and workman like manner. I highly recommend them.

Gabe and Nate- absolute ROCKSTARS. Rolled out at 6:00am. ID’d the problem. Instead of waiting in mini excavator. Grabbed some shovels and pick ax’es and started digging. Found the problem. Rusted hydrant nipple 4 feet down. Raining outside and these guys with smiles on their faces GOT IT FIXED. Unbelievable service on a busy Friday. Top shelf.

Frequently Asked Questions About Hewitt-Messenger Well Drilling & Pump Service

How do I decide where to drill my well?

Determining the ideal location for your well involves evaluating several crucial factors. Consulting with experienced well drilling professionals is your best course of action. The Environmental Protection Agency reports that over 43 million Americans rely on private wells for drinking water, underscoring the importance of careful planning. Key considerations include the site's terrain and accessibility, both now and in the future, especially if nearby development is anticipated. You'll need to adhere to legal setbacks from property lines and septic systems, which may vary by location. Additionally, factor in the current and potential future placement of structures and utility lines when making your decision.

Do I need a permit to drill a well?

Yes, a permit is typically required for well drilling. However, it's advisable to check with your specific county for local regulations. The state of Missouri mandates a well certification report upon completion, which we will provide as part of our service. If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our well pump service team.
