  I had them stain and finish my hardwood floors. The work they did was pretty good and was done on pretty short notice but the lack of customer service and accountability for mistakes was appalling. They got stain on my stair risers after I was told they would tape them off. The owner then came back and said he asked the crew and no one said they told me that. So I suppose the crew member who told me doesn’t feel comfortable fessing up to the boss. Worse, they got stain on my newly painted walls and trim about 3 feet above the floor with one area having significant drips. This was not typical overstain- it was carelessness that they didn’t catch during final walk through (if they did one). There was no furniture in the house at the time to obscure it. When I pointed it out and sent pictures, they gaslit me as if it was normal overstain near the floor. It took multiple attempts of communication including with the owner and multiple days taking time off work to get people to come fix it. They then hounded me about payment. The owner finally agreed to send someone out so I foolishly paid them that morning. The person couldn’t get the stain off and said they’d send their expert. But they got paid so I never heard from them again. I finally got “the expert” out but by then it was too late and the stain would not come off, even on semigloss trim (and it was never coming off the flat wall paint). The company’s response? Just get some of my touch up paint and touch it up. No offer to provide the paint, labor, or any recourse for their sloppiness and delay in service. Even if you do good work on the floor, when you fail to take ownership for mistakes and make it right, you leave a really bad taste in the customer’s mouth. This is not a way to treat customers.

  Excellent experience from beginning to end! I met with Daniel to get different estimates for installing flooring and/or refinishing existing hardwood for specific rooms. He answered all of my questions and assured me his team could deliver the results I was looking for. I had an estimate for both options I asked for in less than 24 hours. I spoke with Matt, who organized scheduling and payment, and communication with him was great. He answered any questions I had and was very quick to respond. Loyd and Dillon installed and refinished everything, and they were so easy to work with. I was out of the country during the install and yet communication with them never lagged, and when I got home most of the work was complete. This could have been a very stressful situation, but the team at Luminous is professional and very talented. I would absolutely reach out to them in the future for other projects!

  We had Alex and Riley install our LVP flooring. These guys were outstanding. They were on time, courteous, neat and provided a professional job. I'd highly recommend them.
