Great company! Great ownership! Had quite a bit of work done by these guys! Brett ran the job and he is excellent! Knowledgeable, professional helpful, friendly and punctual. E&M covers all plumbing needs: Water Heaters, Faucets, Fixtures, Pumps, Piping, etc. They can install new products or service what you have. They are especially great with water filtration and water softeners. I would rate them better than 5 stars, if it were possible!

I'm in the process of selling a house and I had a plumbing issue that showed up on the Occupancy inspection. I was on a short time frame to get it fixed. I contacted E&M Plumbing and they immediately set up an appointment for the next day, arrived on time and had the pipe replaced and leak fixed in less than a hour. Brett was fantastic!!! I highly recommend you contact them for all your Plumbing needs. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thx Brett for relieving some of the stress that comes with selling a home.

I strongly recommend avoiding this company. We initially hired them to repair a plumbing leak. The repair was not done correctly, and the joint continued to leak. Although they stated their work was covered by a one-year warranty, when we called them back they simply attempted to smear additional PVC glue around the existing joint, which is not a proper repair and obviously did not solve the problem. After contacting them again, they returned and said a more extensive repair was required. At approximately 8:45 AM we were told the additional work would cost $200, which we approved. By the time they left around 3:30 PM, we were presented with a bill that was $700 more than the amount we approved, along with another hole cut into a different wall. They also performed work on our upstairs toilet that we never authorized. Unfortunately I had to leave partway through the day, but my girlfriend was home the entire time. Before I left after lunch, they told us everything was going well and that they were almost finished. At no point during the day did they contact us to approve additional work or inform us that the cost had increased dramatically. At best, this reflects a complete lack of transparency. At worst, it feels intentionally misleading and the stereotypical taking advantage of a woman. We were quoted one price in the morning, reassured midday that the job was nearly complete, and then presented with a significantly higher bill and additional work that was never discussed or approved. It was also troubling that these decisions were made without making any effort whatsoever to communicate the changes or obtain approval before proceeding. Between the failed initial repair, the improper "warranty fix," the lack of transparency, and the unauthorized work and charges, the experience was both costly and infuriating. I strongly encourage others to look for a plumbing company that operates with greater honesty and professionalism.

We had a couple of small plumbing repairs and Chris was great. On time...completed the repairs and the cost was very reasonable. Refreshing to work with a company that answers the phone, follows up and actually gets the work completed...thank you!!

Frequently Asked Questions About E&M Plumbing Co, Inc

Why don't I have any water pressure?

It is most likely caused by your pressure-reducing valve. They get old, stop up, and wear out. The minerals and calcium clog it up. It's a pretty easy fix to have it replaced.

Why don't I have much hot water when I know I should?

There could be a couple of answers here. It depends on how old your water heater is. Ff your heater is relatively new (say under 5 years or so) it could be a bad heating element or perhaps the temperature needs to be adjusted. If your heater is older (8-10 years or more) then the most likely problem is a build-up of calcium and minerals inside the tank. This build-up can significantly reduce your water capacity over the years. When this happens, the only answer is to put a new water heater in your home. Hard water can reduce the life of your appliances (washer, water heater, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc.) by half!
