    We bought a Hart Cordless Stick Vacuum at the Direct Tools Factory Outlet on Sept. 13, 2025. When we got to our home over 200 miles away and unpacked it, we discovered that it didn't have a battery! The packaging implies that a battery is included. We called the Direct Tools store and spoke to the manager, who told us that we would have to buy the battery at Walmart or somewhere else. The battery costs a lot more than the vacuum! Direct Tools should have put up a sign saying that the battery was not included, or the salesperson should have warned us when we were checking out.

    I've always had great luck with my brick and mortor direct tools, but online has been a poor experience. I've ordered a few tools over the years, with mixed results, but lately it seems to have gotten worse. I ordered a Track Saw on sale a few months ago. It arrived with the wrong battery. I suggested I'd ship the smaller battery back and the could send me the correct one. They said it wasn't possible. Ended up being a defective saw anyway, so I returned the whole thing. I went back on the website after the return was done to find the same saw cheaper then I paid originally. Sweet, right!! I placed the order and received confirmation. Almost 4 weeks later they cancelled it citing inventory....I reached out and asked they honor the original order since their website shows inventory in stock the whole time. Again, "nothing they can do" was their response. Current pricing is more then I paid the last two attempts to order the saw kit. I'm very frustrated and not sure what changed, but customer service claims to no longer have any power to serve the customer.....

    If you like Ryobi this place is great. Lots of stock. Things you did not know they made. But be aware that unless it’s on sale or refurbished you may be paying retail prices

    The associates are so so so soooo nice! Really saved my butt when my store’s radio went out! Buy all of your tools here!!
