  One time Jim told me me on Jun 9th 2024 , that he was going to start digging in 3 weeks. On June 16th we said “once I dig we fly” He didn’t get the permit approved until September 19th and didn’t start digging until September 30th. He really seems to be in over his head and clueless. Oh, and here’s how he leaves the job site. Stay away!

  dishonest and fraudulent is my experience. Jim agreed to build a house in Chaska in May of 2024. Months of misleading information, excuses, asking for more money. I walked away because there was no light at the end of the tunnel. I have been dealing with him and his excuses for over 15 months, and he owes me $35,000+. Blames others for his lack of action and accountability. Even when I walked away he got the house foreclosed upon, breached our agreement/ contract. It’s not just me , this is a pattern. Numerous lawsuits have been filed against him. I’d look elsewhere for a builder. Do not recommend.

  Not a trustworthy guy. Breaches contracts over and over again. Multiple lawsuits against him (totaling around $630,000) from his Vivid Homes also has/had lawsuits against him with Cheetah Roofing. Go look at the MN Court Records Online and you can see all of his dealings. Blames other people, uses the phrase "you don't know the full story" all the time. Not sure how he keeps finding subs to do his work, word is getting out. From what I understand there has been complaints opened up against him at the state level. Would look elsewhere for builders - alot of good ones around the West Metro area, and he is not one of them. Just be informed and know the "full story" with him.
