Leaving a 1 star review because 0 is not an option. We completed $40,000 worth of work in 2023 for a homeowner who hired Jim to coordinate the project. Despite fulfilling our obligations, we still have not received payment from Jim, who has repeatedly changed his company name and email address over the years. We strongly advise against hiring this company, as you risk being left unpaid and unsupported.

I lent $70,000 to Jim for working capital four years ago and he has yet to repay any of this loan. He has excuse after excuse for not repaying his debt. Do not trust him or give him any advances on your projects. Jim and Sara are not good people and should not be trusted. Update 1/29/2025 No returned call, email or payment. I will update every month until this debt is paid.2/27/2025 Jim has not returned my messages. Sara was invited to call me as well. They continue to avoid all calls and communication. Don't trust him with your money. He e-mailed me in March and said he will pay off his debt in April. We will see if he honors his commitment for the first time since the loan was made. Sara continues to avoid communication.5/5/2025 Jim sent an e-mail in March that he would make the payoff in April. Like every other promise to pay his debt, he did not. Would not return text or e-mail messages to explain his latest false promise. Well you guessed it, no communication at all in May. Stay tuned and don't say I didn't warn you!! June came and went. No returned texts, calls or letters. Sara also hasn't communicated once. These two are sly. Never believe a word they say. 6/25/2025. 7/23/2025 no return texts or e-mail messages. Ask either Jim or Sara about this. If they are truthful they will admit everything I said is true and if they deny any part of this that also proves everything I said is true.

I had two roofing jobs to do. Jim was very helpful with the larger job and which required much interaction and negotiation with my insurance company. The work was done well and timely. For the second roofing job that was required, on multiple occasions I reached him and he promised to get back to me, come to my home, pursue the additional work that needed to be done. He never followed through on his promises to attend to my needs. The only conclusion that I could surmise is that the job was too small or his company was not equipped to do the work. I was never informed of the reason that he did not follow through. Unfortunate, because Jim is a very nice person and did a great job on the main roof work.

I'm writing this review on October 14, 2021. I used Cheetah Roofing to patch a hole in my roof last year and everything went great. Reasonable price, quick service, I had no complaints. It's only reasonable to give repeat business to a local company that you enjoy working with, right? Well, I wish I hadn't.
On July 20, 2021, Logan (an employee of Cheetah Roofing) came to my property equipped with a drone. His assignment was to complete a roof inspection and digital siding measurement. Jim and I had discussed this estimate the week prior and both parties were in agreement that the inspection and measurement would cost me $80, and they would provide me with the measurements needed to order my own siding and Roofing materials, but also with estimates for both if I elected to have Cheetah Roofing complete the job instead of myself and some contractor friends over a couple weekends.
On the day of the inspection Logan completed what he needed to do and was very professional. He said it would take anywhere from 3 days to a week to complete all the estimate details in the computer and he would send it over to me. He left after about an hour with my email in his phone and a signed check in his hand. The check was deposited or cashed on July 30th, 2021, and that was the last I heard from anyone at this company. I've left numerous messages for Jim and Logan separately, left text messages for Logan, and never heard a word back.
Given the state of the world right now and the labor shortages, I understand when people are busy. I've given them plenty of time to respond and complete a simple inspection and measurement. The fact that it's taken nearly 3 months without so much as an apology is extremely disappointing. If you don't want to have to consider making a complaint to the licensing organizations and/or filing a small claims suit, I would not advise hiring Cheetah Roofing for your exterior projects on the largest asset most people will ever own.
