My tankless water heater wasn't producing hot water. I called McQuillan in the morning and they had someone here by the afternoon!
The technician was very friendly and courteous. He was familiar with the model I have and after doing some initial testing, was quickly on the phone with the manufacturer, doing a deep dive into diagnosing the unit.
He then did a great job of explaining the problem and the repair options to me.
Highly recommend!

This company canceled on me 20 minutes before my 4 hour long window was about to close then told me they are booked for the next month. My friend had the same thing happen to him a while back, but I thought it was a fluke. I took off from work to be home for my appointment. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they were all busy. No offers, no effort, very unhelpful person on the other end of the call trying to make the situation right. Go anywhere else if you want someone to show up.

Scheduled an appointment for 12 to 4pm. Confirmed by text the day before. Took half the day off of work to be sure someone was home. Received a call at 2:27pm to inform me that the technician would arrive in 30 -45 minutes. About an hour later I received a call saying there was a dispatch error and they would need to reschedule for tomorrow. Not possible. We planned our day around this and took time off of work for nothing. Will be going with someone more responsible.

This review concerns a furnace installed by McQuillin Bros at my mother’s home approximately two years ago. Since installation the unit has experienced repeated failures, including loss of heat during winter months.
The furnace installed was a basic single-stage unit. No ductwork modifications were performed, yet the total cost was significantly higher than comparable installations. Despite multiple service visits over the past two years the system has continued to malfunction.
On the most recent incident, we were assured multiple times throughout the day that a technician was on the way. After repeated follow-up calls, no technician arrived and no direct communication was provided. By evening, calls were routed to an AI automated system indicating a callback would occur on the following business day, leaving the home without heat.
Due to the lack of response an independent HVAC technician was contacted to assess the issue. He identified a failed control board on a furnace approximately two years old. He also observed corrosion present on the heat exchanger and noted that the evaporator temperature sensor was not properly installed near the coil. These conditions were described to us as inconsistent with proper installation and commissioning practices.
For additional context, I personally purchased a furnace from McQuillin Bros approximately two years ago at a cost of about $14,000 and have also required multiple service visits since installation.
Based on these experiences, I have serious concerns regarding installation standards, pricing transparency, and service reliability.

I used to Love McQ, all of the techs have been amazing, but ever since they switched to this terrible automated service, it’s been a nightmare trying to get a hold of anyone. One of the techs even gave me their personal number, thank goodness, to help with issues. I’m super disappointed. McQ went from an amazing family run/local business, to an absolute nightmare of a system to navigate, especially in times of an emergency. They used to be a number one referral, and now I tell clients to avoid them. It’s a major bummer.
