  Mad City was very professional and did an amazing job at installing my new windows. They fixed some old rotten wood from around the windows and made sure everything was sealed. They changed 14 windows in one day! The installers/workers were very nice and answered every question we had.

  Was very happy with their work. I had been having trouble getting in and out of the tub in my bathroom, so chose to convert to a shower. This was a game changer--and it was completed in the timeline I needed as I was going in for a hip replacement. The workers were hardworking and left my house and property in excellent condition. If you would like to explore updating your bath, I cannot recommend them highly enough!

  While the initial quote was competitive, the overall experience left us uncomfortable and ultimately unwilling to move forward. As homeowners, we prefer to gather multiple estimates and carefully evaluate financing options to ensure we’re making the best long-term decision. Unfortunately, that approach was not respected. The sales process felt overly aggressive and, at times, frustrating. After stating that pricing was firm, the salesman repeatedly adjusted the cost in an apparent attempt to pressure us into committing on the spot. We were also told the price would not be honored after he left and that he did not want to return a third time to finalize anything. When I questioned why a company wouldn’t be willing to come back out to secure a significant project, the response that they “get enough business” and don’t need to was off putting and unprofessional. Despite clearly and politely declining multiple times, the pressure continued. The interaction ended with a dismissive comment wishing us luck finding our “unicorn,” which felt both unnecessary and disrespectful. A competitive price doesn’t outweigh a sales experience that feels coercive. We would recommend this company re-evaluate their approach to customer interactions.

  Mad City did a superb job of installing our walk-in shower. It ended up being a two day job, but they cleaned and organized their stuff in the bathroom so well that evening that we barely knew there was anything going on. The crew were wonderful, very polite, very efficient, as quiet as they could be (except when they had to break the tub apart with sledge hammers!) and very helpful when the smoke alarms kept going off because of the dust! Management came in multiple times to check on things. The job was completed to our total satisfaction.

  Thomas came out of the Duluth MN office to estimate our window project. He was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable about the product. He spent considerable time with us as we had many questions about the windows warranty and installation. We were quite impressed and looking forward to the installation. I will post more when we complete it. So far so good!
