  I just need to share what a great employee Bill at the Roseville Kate-Lo location is. He personally walked me through the stone product that I was selecting, made sure it was exactly what I was looking for. He even offered to set a sample outside the store to pick up in case I didn't make it to the store before closing. He provided the product ID's, the number to the order desk, made sure everything was in stock and helped me select an immaculate piece of tile that was exactly what we were hoping for. Give this man a raise. He is a great example of what is lacking as far as sales and service at many places these days. Bill and Kate-Lo made a lifelong customer out of me.   Kate-Lo was incredibly supportive throughout our unexpected bathroom remodel process. I worked directly with Jed, a very kind individual who was helpful in stretching our imagination for making our half-remodel look like anything but a patch job. At no point did Jed EVER push me to stick only with aKate-Lo tile purchase, as there were certain types of tile that they did not specifically carry. Nonetheless, even when it was decided that their color patterns would not match the 14 year old tile that was originally installed in our house, he continued to assist us. Customer service like this seems impossible to come by these days. If you're looking for a company that will do their best in helping you feel comfortable with your tiling process and not just about lining their pockets, Kate-Lo is who you want.

  Changed unused tile return policy after tile was already purchased. Shady.

  The showroom and staff in Roseville was nice, but nobody answers the phone, or calls back at the warehouse. Also, you can't return the tile unless it's full boxes, even though they don't sell it that way. The warehouse is slow and annoying to pick up tile with the hours it's open. Go to the tile shop if you want prompt easy service.
