- ESEC SchmitzOct 24, 20251.0Krueger Excavating came out to excavate my front yard due to a water leak approximately eight feet underground. The crew was polite and worked efficiently, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, after the work was completed, the yard was left in poor condition. There were deep tire tracks across the property, and the area where the hole was filled was left uneven with large clumps of clay that could not be flattened. We ultimately had to rent heavy equipment to properly level and compact the ground before we could replant grass. While some disruption is expected with this type of work, the extent of the tire damage could have been avoided had plywood or protective mats been used. Additionally, when I contacted the company about delaying payment for a short time due to being a federal employee currently working without pay, I was disappointed by how the conversation was handled. I politely explained my situation and asked if they could wait a week or two for payment, but the representative repeatedly said that it “wouldn’t be fair” and spoke over me. When I mentioned I would share my experience in a review, she accused me of being rude and then hung up. Overall, while the excavation itself was completed, the lack of care for my property and the poor customer service afterward leave me unable to recommend this company.
