Wowza, stay away from this company.
Had them come out to quote some electrical work at my house I recently bought. While they were out “inspecting” my panel, they turned off two switches and didn’t turn them back on. One of these was to our refrigerator, causing us to loose over $300 in groceries that were in the freezer.
All they could do is offer a partial refund for the lost items… and now we are out over $150.
I would strongly recommend reaching out to another company unless you want to pay for the damage Deans will do to you.

I had an electrician come over to give me an estimate for my new dryer that was not giving any heat. The electrician told me that I needed a new panel and that it would cost over 10,000.00 to replace. I informed him that I could not afford that and he then suggested that I take out a loan and have monthly payment to pay off the panel. I filled out the loan information and then I contacted the company that had installed the unit and they asked me to hold off on the work from Deans until they could have their electrician come over and look at it. I then called Deans and put a hold on the work as well as the loan. I then had a electrician come over and it moved some of the circuits up retested the voltage and the dryer was working again giving off heat. it took less that 5 minutes for this process to be done. I called Deans for several days to make sure that the loan was cancelled only to be told that someone would get back to me. I had to call the loan company directly 7 days later and get it cancelled and then called Deans to make sure that it was cancelled and proof in writing. I would never recommend this company to anyone it was a total ripoff and they should be ashamed of themselves for this practice. Would I use Deans again the answer is a hard no.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They offered to come to our house to evaluate our furnace, which was working fine. They said that an expensive part needed to be replaced because it had "rusted out." They quoted us thousands of dollars for the repair.
I responded by calling my trusted furnace repairman, Zach at Howell Heating, and there was literally not one single thing wrong with the part. There was nothing to be repaired on the furnace.
Nick V was the Dean's Home Service technician who gave us the misleading diagnosis of our furnace.
Apparently, Dean's Home Service was once a well respected local business with good reviews, but it has since been purchased by a private equity firm that is deliberately trying to scam people. My advice is, stay away. This company cost me unnecessary amounts of time and money.

I was ripped off. Again.
I did not receive an itemized invoice, just a blank invoice, void of labor hours, parts cost, etc.
-Job took 2 hours.
-They used less than $250 dollars (guessing) in parts.
I was charged $2,000 total.
So in essence I paid about $800 an hour for labor. And this was after a “discount” when they originally quoted $2500, lol.
I agreed to the price because I thought it was going to be a harder job. But nah. And they should have done the right thing and said it was easier than they thought and charged me accordingly. My bad for not questioning tho.
Beware, they try to upsell everything and it’s obvious every encounter I’ve had with them.
You can get things a lot cheaper elsewhere.
This is my last time being taken advantage of.
This is the type of plumbing vendor I was warned about by my Dad. They fit the stereotype. I could move back to the City if I wanted to be taken advantage of.
Look at photo for my $2000 outdoor spigot.
But hey, it’s climate tempered so there’s that.

Seriously avoid, very overpriced but we thought it could get quicker than other places. Something was installed not up to our energy companies standards and Deans refuses to fix it. Their 'membership' is such a scam, I've said multiple times (at least 5 via phone call and told them to stop texting 3 times) I don't want a service call for my furnace or HVAC or AC. The last lady I spoke to was SO RUDE and asked me AGAIN for a service call, I said I just want my electric panel fixed. I asked to please stop being asked about services and I'm regretting having Dean's service my electric parts because I get asked so often. She then told me I was being rude and she was disconnecting the call, when I explained my frustration she said the conversation was going in circles and was pointless. Stay away at all costs.
