- VVValmiraNov 27, 20251.0The builder selected this company to complete the cabinetry work, and the installation reflects poor craftsmanship. I initially reached out regarding drawers that were misaligned and one drawer box that had extra unnecessary holes. Carrie, whom I corresponded with via email, was reluctant to provide a replacement and insisted that this was how the drawer was supposed to be installed—despite the matching drawer on the opposite side being secured with only two screws and having no additional holes. There was a clear unwillingness to acknowledge a workmanship issue or provide a replacement. Additionally, I later discovered that two cabinets are misaligned. The hole placement was drilled incorrectly, meaning a new hole would need to be made to properly align the cabinets. To make matters worse, deck screws were used to mount the cabinets instead of proper cabinet screws. The screw heads already appear to be pulling through the cabinets back. Cabinet screws are specifically designed to prevent this issue, whereas deck screws are not intended for cabinetry installation. Due to the use of improper fasteners, I am concerned about how long the cabinets will remain secure and what damage may result over time.
