- TATraci AthmanApr 1, 20261.0After coming out for a third time and telling us parts we needed were “no longer available” and we could “nickel and dime it but we really needed a new AC” we called a family friend who is a master plumber and he made the trip out and had our AC fixed within an hour for less than $20 in parts (and also was able to get the liquid that “was no longer available”). We tried to dispute the services we got but ended up receiving a VERY inappropriate angry phone call around 7pm on a Tuesday night from Linden. He told me my husband needed to “man up” and pay the $300 bill. I gave him my husband’s number and informed him I no longer felt comfortable speaking to him about the situation and that they could discuss the $300. (My husband was planning to pay but wanted to express how upsetting it was for his wife to be yelled at by a plumber when she had nothing to do with the situation) We waited but he never called my husband. Fast forward over a year and the father calls me. I explained what happened and again, gave him my husband’s number and asked he leaves me out of the situation. He never called my husband, but instead sent us to collections for the $300. After using this company for YEARS and paying THOUSANDS, we no longer use them. You’d think after the inappropriate call they would have reasoned with my husband instead of just avoiding calling him. All over $300. Instead the father just said “I don’t doubt my son did that but he doesn’t drink” when I asked if he may have been drunk when he called. Oh and we’re still “nickel and diming it” with our AC which is working great 2yrs later.
