HUGE shout out to Ryan at Approve Home Services for getting us back to normal. He spent 6.5 hours clearing roots out of our plumbing, and cleaning EVERYTHING out of the main line so we can buy time for a Spring repair. Ryan is so incredibly kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and humble. He answers our questions, and even better - he tells us if he doesn’t know the answer, but will find out. Even the schedulers took the time to help me calm down when I was in a sheer panic trying to fix this issue. I wish I could remember her name, but she was a god send that morning. This company has seen us through this first year of homeownership, and they earned a loyal customer from our household!

I made sure I called ahead and talked to a nice lady and let her know all the parts I needed prior to the arrival of plumber. Also I spoke to a senior plumber in the evening and talked through the part list again and to bring the pump. We discussed the ball valve importance and that it’s code so we decided we needed that also. When the plumber arrived and gave me the quote he didn’t have the pump, but he left to get one, but I assumed he had a ball valve, but he did not. So he put it together without it for now. He said on their inspection it would be added. It was very expensive for a pump installation, $3185 , but I didn’t want to wait.

It was a joint effort with Approve Home Services replacing main vent stack from basement up and replacing 2nd floor bathroom drains in this 1900's home. I opened up access ahead of them and closed when they had finished. Communication/coordination with Ryan couldn't have been better and our family's home is back together and working great and in time to host their family this Christmas.
