- DMDavid MatychukDec 17, 20255.0VERY pleased with the finished work and process using Robideau Construction. My 90-year-old mother filed an insurance claim for extensive water damage ($54,000). We decided to follow our insurance agent's recommendation and call Robideau. All four of my contacts were not only professional but also communicated and worked with me through what I felt was a complex process that needed my mother's input, which wasn't always timely or precise. They were patient and willing to work on our schedule. The work itself exceeded my expectations. Tyler started by ensuring that all damage was identified, properly documented for the insurance claim, and mitigated so that no further damage occurred. Dave worked through the details, pricing, and recommendations for how to proceed. Scott scheduled and ensured the work was done promptly, meeting our needs. There were hiccups because it was an older home, but the Robideau team made sure the insurance covered the extra costs and did additional work not only to put the house back together but also to address future problems that were not required. Lastly, when I needed help and was stressed by dealing with my mother and the issues at hand, I received a call from the owner, who explained the process and reduced my stress. I always wonder whether someone who leaves a glowing review is connected to the company in some way. I don't know anyone from Robideau other than this experience. THANK YOU!

I had water damage on my main level in my town home and never having to experience this before, I was a little stressed out. Tyler, was the first to come out to the house to start the mitigation process. From the second he walked in, he was extremely professional, kind, and honestly, put my mind at ease. I then worked with Dave on the estimate; he was so great at taking time to answer all of my questions, went over the process, and was so genuine as he addressed my concerns/worries. He made my decision to move forward with S. Robideau a "no brainer". Jason was my project manager, and talk about a responsive, patient and personable man. I have a tendency to over think certain decisions, especially when you have to pick out all new floors (not a quick easy decision), anyhow, he was great at providing his feedback and assistance. Never once did I feel pressured or rushed. Jason was very responsive throughout the entire project! I also got to meet Ashley! I stopped in unannounced, and she was just so welcoming, cheerful and kind. She has such a upbeat attitude and very pleasant to talk to! I also got to meet with Gary. Special shout out to Tyler who did the water mitigation and Chuck who did the painting those guys were super good at text communication and were always flexible with my schedule and all my animals :) Highly recommend S. When do I pay my deductible?
You are responsible for your deductible and should always pay it before restoration services begin.
Do I need an estimate before you start the dry-out process?
We agree on an estimate with your insurance company or obtain authorization to begin work before any repairs are made. Once an adjuster is assigned to your claim, we inform them of our progress and receive authorization for any further steps.
How long will my property take to dry?
The drying process depends on temperature, humidity, saturation, material, and other variables. We monitor the situation consistently to determine when drying is complete. On average, a typical home water damage situation will dry out in about three days.
Can I turn off drying equipment at night?
It is important to keep our equipment running 24/7. We strategically place our equipment to encourage optimal drying, and turning it off will only increase drying time, microbial growth, and secondary damage.
Should I be worried about mold after water damage?

How long will it take to replace my roof?
We complete most roofing projects in one day. We drop off our materials, dumpster, and permit the day before we are scheduled to start. On the scheduled completion date, our production coordinator will complete a 10-point inspection and call the dumpster company for removal. We will also schedule a final inspection to ensure your satisfaction. We will discuss your completion timeline if your roof is extremely large or features pitch or design complications.
What is depreciation?
Depreciation is the value reduction of an asset due to usage, passage of time, wear and tear, or obsolescence. Most insurance policies include depreciation on selected items in their estimates. Recoverable depreciation is refunded to the homeowner after repairs are completed.
