- NBNicole BNov 10, 20255.0Highly recommend these guys! They are a wonderful team of professionals to work with who has your best interest at hand. I had water damage on my main level in my town home and never having to experience this before, I was a little stressed out. Tyler, was the first to come out to the house to start the mitigation process. From the second he walked in, he was extremely professional, kind, and honestly, put my mind at ease. I then worked with Dave on the estimate; he was so great at taking time to answer all of my questions, went over the process, and was so genuine as he addressed my concerns/worries. He made my decision to move forward with S. Robideau a "no brainer". Jason was my project manager, and talk about a responsive, patient and personable man. I have a tendency to over think certain decisions, especially when you have to pick out all new floors (not a quick easy decision), anyhow, he was great at providing his feedback and assistance. Never once did I feel pressured or rushed. Jason was very responsive throughout the entire project! I also got to meet Ashley! I stopped in unannounced, and she was just so welcoming, cheerful and kind. She has such a upbeat attitude and very pleasant to talk to! I also got to meet with Gary. He was very personable, kind, and great sense of humor. Thank you to everyone on the team that worked hard on getting my house put back together! I greatly appreciate all of you!

I worked with several of their crew and they were all neat, professional and courteous. I am a single female and I always felt comfortable with their crew everyone was so nice. Special shout out to Tyler who did the water mitigation and Chuck who did the painting those guys were super good at text communication and were always flexible with my schedule and all my animals :) Highly recommend S. Robideau!!!!!!

The project manager Rob never returns calls and is near impossible to get ahold of. We have to leave poor reviews, call the office, speak to his supervisor, etc in order to get a response or progress. Which really kinda sucks. The hired sheetrock and mudders left a HUGE mess, these were not S. Robideau employees, they were subs. There was mud all over the floors, windows, doors and bathroom fixtures. They didn't tarp off the room they were working in so there was sheet rock dust covering the entire main floor (the day before our family Thanksgiving). There is still a pile of trash outside left from them in November. Every once in a while when actual S. Robideau employees show up (generally unannounced but I work from home so I am almost always here so it has worked out). They are amazing. They are professional, they are kind, they are understanding and they do great work! If it weren't for Rob this project would not only have been done LAST YEAR and I wouldn't have a bad thing to say about them. Today the carpet layers showed up and although we have been trying to schedule this for 3 weeks (the carpet people have been trying to reach Rob too without success) there was no one from S. Robideau to move items for them to install. I did call and spoke with the office and Rob's supervisor. I was promptly called back by Tyler (thank you) who is going to try to make this happen. We are really easy going, we don't make ANY changes to the plans (which was a response on our BBB complaint, that we have ever changing requirements - completely untrue, we have never changed a thing). Their entire response was gross and untrue (as can be verified by the actual workers that have arrived). I really WANT to tell you they do great work, because they do. I wanted to leave a great review because as business owners ourselves, they mean a lot. This, however, has not been a great experience. Every single employee that we have met with (sans the one) has been exceptional. If you do use them, and you really should. Request a project manager that can and will answer the phone and get the job done.

When do I pay my deductible?
You are responsible for your deductible and should always pay it before restoration services begin.
Do I need an estimate before you start the dry-out process?
We agree on an estimate with your insurance company or obtain authorization to begin work before any repairs are made. Once an adjuster is assigned to your claim, we inform them of our progress and receive authorization for any further steps.
How long will my property take to dry?
The drying process depends on temperature, humidity, saturation, material, and other variables. We monitor the situation consistently to determine when drying is complete. On average, a typical home water damage situation will dry out in about three days.
Can I turn off drying equipment at night?
It is important to keep our equipment running 24/7. We strategically place our equipment to encourage optimal drying, and turning it off will only increase drying time, microbial growth, and secondary damage.
Should I be worried about mold after water damage?
Mold develops over time, and we can usually prevent it if we are called to the scene quickly enough. We provide careful inspection and anti-microbial treatment to hinder mold growth.

How long will it take to replace my roof?
We complete most roofing projects in one day. We drop off our materials, dumpster, and permit the day before we are scheduled to start. On the scheduled completion date, our production coordinator will complete a 10-point inspection and call the dumpster company for removal. We will also schedule a final inspection to ensure your satisfaction. We will discuss your completion timeline if your roof is extremely large or features pitch or design complications.
