  I don't normally write reviews, but for this company and the so-called service they provided, I feel compelled to do so. I had a new garage built and doors installed from another company a couple years ago. After installing wall mounted, jackshaft style door openers recently, there was an issue with either spring tension or track alignment and the cables were loose and coming off the shaft drum which is why I called Overhead Door to have inspected and adjusted. The technician arrived and I stated the issue. He proceeded to bend the new tracks with vice grips to install spacers which he didn't ask for approval before doing. He never measured the tracks for alignment or corrected the issue, just shimmed the door roller to push the door so it wasn't binding, which would have been corrected by aligning the tracks. He was at my address for 2 hours, about 30mins of which was talking and B.S.ing about random topics. I was billed for 3 hours and a $455 bill. Nothing was fixed, actually worse with a bent track after he left. I had another company come out and replace the track and realign for half the price. I will never do business with Overhead Door again, and highly suggest another company for service...

  I have dealt with this company for over ten years. They have installed doors and openers for me. I tend to be a demanding person with respect to quality of work. As a senior citizen and due to some physical limitations, I am no longer able to climb up ladders. I depend on them. Recently on rather short notice on my part, I needed some work done. They came and quickly fixed the problem. Throughout they were courteous and responsive to my requests. Without any hesitation, I would recommend them to anyone. They are quality people!!

  I recently had an emergency with my garage door. It was stuck halfway up. I needed it fixed right away, as it is a basement garage and there was no way to make it secure for overnight. When I called Overhead Door, the receptionist was very polite and accommodating. She said a repair person would be at my house after 3:00. Shawn called before 3:00 and said he was running late and would be there at 4:00, which he was. He was very skilled and fixed the problem within about an hour. I certainly will call Overhead Door if I need any service in the future.

  I have used the Overhead Door Company a few times and they always get the job done well. Their expert/skilled work is efficient (Great job Derek), the door openers top quality/quiet, their customer service (from the office to the garage door ) is excellent and they're very fair with billing. Thank you for always being there when you are needed Overhead Door Co.!
