MMT Heating and Cooling is our go-to for all mini split and boiler issues. They installed our mini splits on short notice in spring of 2021. They were super responsive and really made us feel like our home and needs were a priority for them. We got quotes from two other companies for our AC but went with MMT because they were the most responsive and professional in their communications and gave us a lot of confidence that they'd do the job in the most cost-effective and efficient way possible. We've been very pleased with the outcome. They also replaced our boiler and a thermostat. The number one thing I appreciated about their work on our boiler (besides being nice and warm again) is that they were SUPER clean! When they were done for the day, there wasn't a trace of the enormous project they had undertaken in the basement. That was HUGE for us because we have a toddler who will find anything that she's not supposed to eat, including trash and debris, and then she'll try to eat it. These guys are phenomenal. We really appreciate and respect their work and would def recommend!

Steve is the sweetest guy. He came out to look at our unit knowing he was a 3rd quote, and that we were moving soon. He also taught me a couple things about A/C units and home maintenance. He was honest and responsive. Thanks again Steve!

Steve Gave Us VERY Competitive Quotes on A Heat Pump And A Central Air Unit. We Were Still Unsure on What Type of Unit To Install, So Steve Took Another Evening To Conference Call With Me and My Husband To Answer ALL Our Pros & Cons Questions And Concerns On The Two Different Units, And Also Educate Us On The Differences On These Units Allowing Us To Be VERY Sure And Confident n The Choice We Made and That It Was Perfect For US. Install Was Fast,Friendly And Professional, Scott & His Helper Answered All Our Additional Questions And Left Our Home as Clean as Before They Arrived. MMT Also Installed Our Bryant Furnace 4 Years Ago And We Were Very Impressed With Them on That Install As Well. * NOTE We Received Quotes From 4 Other Heating And Cooling Companies For Both Of The Jobs MMT Heating & Cooling Completed For Us. We Would Gladly Vouch For Them Anytime !

Frequently Asked Questions About MMT Heating & Cooling

Is it a good idea to seal heating registers in my home?

We recommend leaving all your vents and registers open. Closing off registers to rooms you don’t use often causes your furnace system to release air unevenly and overwork itself as a result. By leaving registers open, air flow is allowed to evenly and efficiently heat your house.

How often do I need to replace my furnace filters?

Changing your furnace filter once a year during your annual tune-up is ideal, especially if your home does not have many air quality concerns. If you smoke indoors or have pets or allergies, we recommend changing your filter every six months to maintain cleaner air quality. Bryant filters are more efficient than the selection at your local hardware store and MMT can help you find a filter for your system that will maximize your furnace’s cycling and airflow. Upgrade to a filter with a high AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) rating to save money on your utility costs.
