  Incredible Work. They came out to fix my fireplace last night at 6 PM, even after running late at another job, because they wanted to make sure everything was taken care of before the holiday. (Shout out Dave) That level of dedication and customer service is hard to find these days. They did an excellent job, were professional and friendly, and made sure everything was working perfectly before they left. Even took the time to educate me a little bit about how the system should work! I truly appreciate their hard work and the extra effort they put in. Highly recommend!

  The very best. They were able to fix affordably our two gas log sets that two other companies told me needed to be fully replaced (to the tune of 5-7k). They are kind, responsive, helpful, and beyond competent. I am so grateful for this company.

  We had them out to look at a gas fireplace after we moved into a new house. Their service rate was very reasonable and the service tech was great. He walked me through the whole fireplace, pointed out some issues, made recommendations for what to address immediately and what could wait, was able to service some items the same day, and got the fireplace cleaned up and looking great. I'll definitely be using their services again.

  Dave with Beneath the Mantel checked all the boxes! We sold our home and at inspection, wouldn't you know it, the gas fireplace didn't want to work even though I had it working just two weeks prior. The inspector thought it might be a bad/sticky valve or something more major. We had less than a month to get it fixed. I called 3 or 4 different places and Beneath the Mantel came through! Others were booked out past Christmas and one was even booked out to March. Dave fit me in within 3 days. When he arrived he inspected the unit, checked the things we discussed on the phone and even though the issue acted like it could be a valve (a more expensive repair in terms of labor and parts), it turned out it was just low voltage from a bad switch on the side of the unit. What could have been a $580.00+ repair was only $218.00 (callout + parts). Dave was upfront and honest in his assessment. I'm a bit embarrassed that it was something so simple but I'm no handyman so the expertise he provided was well worth it. Way to go guys! If our fireplace goes on the fritz in the new home you can guarantee I'll be giving you a call!

  I couldn't recommend Beneath the Mantel enough. I had a great experience with Dave last week with a fireplace that just would not light. He came out discussed the trouble shooting with me and got it fixed right up. Later in the day I was smelling some slight gas fumes and called him back, he came over late on that Friday night to ensure everything was safe. After a very long troubleshooting process, he discovered it was a completely unrelated issue with the unit and also got that fixed for me. He clearly cares about his work and ensures that you're left with the best possible fix. Dave was very polite and courteous, which is a huge factor when welcoming someone in your home. The prices were as expected, and all the charged items were explained well. Fireplace repair is one of those things you don't want to deal with too often, but should I need it in the future, I'll be calling Beneath the Mantel!
