He was here for an hour and a half and was very thorough in his work. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me in great detail. I plan on requesting him back next fall. I was an Army guy; he was a Marine but yet we got along great. Semper Fi ;)

As it turns out we had the same issue. He installed a new water pressure valve and back up pressure tank on our hot water heater. He also flushed out our water heater. He’s the kind of service person you want doing work in your house. He explained everything very throughly and quoted us costs before doing the work. He gets my highest rating.
- RLRobert LittleNov 14, 20255.0Jacob did great work for us. We had a water pressure problem in our house due to a faulty pressure regulating valve. Jacob thoroughly explained the possible reasons for the failure and clearly defined all the possible solutions. He replaced our PRV and installed an expansion tank for our water heater in very short time and left our utility cleaner than it was when he started. He has an exceptional knowledge of plumbing systems and a talent to communicate in simple terms that we could understand. Job well done. If I was his boss I would give a pay raise immediately.

Finally called Genz Ryan this year and tech Ben listened more closely than previous techs. Ben went up on my roof using my ladder and checked my chimney and found out that it was no longer elevated. He fixed this particular issue and heater is working better than it has in years. I found out later that Ben wasn't suppose to go on my roof to fix the chimney and could have been in trouble. Genz Ryan has a top notch tech in Ben who really went above and beyond to get my fix done at a good price. More HVAC people should be trained in full troubleshooting like this rather than just the furnace unit.
- KCKate ConroyNov 6, 20251.0Tony was thorough, kind, and went the extra mile on a few things. Updated: Tony was great, but he either didn't turn back on the hot water heater or thought he did but didn't check. So within a few days I had no hot water. The 2nd Genz Ryan guy they sent confirmed that Tony turned off the water heater including the pilot in order to install the early detection system, and for whatever reason either didn't turn it back on or didn't notice that when he attempted to turn it back on it didn't actually light the pilot. The 2nd guy said he tried and couldn't get it back on and suggested I buy a new hot water heater for $7,000. I said no thanks and called CenterPoint who sent guys out and were able to get in on in the first 90 seconds of looking at it. May it's not a scam, but it felt like it.
