- MTM T6 days ago5.0The five star rating is for Twin City's communications and responsiveness. Since we are not familiar with HVAC systems and installation, we are not able to judge the quality and appropriateness of the systems and their installation. I am giving them the benefit of doubt, hoping the systems they installed is the best for the house and their installation work is excellent. All their staff are very polite and friendly. Brad and Joe were very prompt in providing information and quotes prior to the installation. Before they got the contract, they sent technician Jason to figure out how to route the exhaust to the back instead of the front of the house. Jason and Bryce worked all day on the installation, even pass their usual quitting time in order to finish the work. I am surprised that Lennox make it so hard to install the furnace. They should drastically improved their systems to simplify on site installation, especially for replacing an old system with existing duct work. Maybe Twin City can give them some recommendations. Bryce put down tarps on the floor to protect from snow and dirt from their shoes. He adviced us to use cheap filters instead of the expensive ones we have. An expensive filter restricts air, like us wearing a mask to breath, which make the motor work harder and wears it out faster. Electrician Alex complied when I told him to close the door every time he goes outside to work on the air conditioner, because there's no heat in the house.

In addition they installed a new hood fan/vent fir the kitchen, ensuring the damper works, preventing cold air from spilling into the room. Alex, Brian & Bryce were all courteous and respectful of our home.

They performed a service and recommended a new pump. They confirmed the radiators were working. After the first cold days in October, we realized one of the radiators wasn’t working. This was not noted in their report. I called them to diagnose and they said it was the thermostat which was over $400 to replace through them. After the fact, the model of thermostat retails for about $80. After replacing the thermostat, the radiator still wasn’t working. They then said the issue was the valve to the radiator and quoted over $2200 to replace it. I looked for a 2nd opinion and it turns out there’s a blockage in the pipes. Would not recommend. Not sure this is the place the techs came from since there’s multiple TCHAE, but the billing address on our invoice is Blaine.
