  Billed $1600 for float switch replacement when my wife was home for consultation. Its a 250-300 job. Response from Owner:You are free to do whatever you wish, But understand you signed a contract to have a float switch replaced for 1600 dollars before service was render, the float switch was replaced and you paid 1600 dollars, contract fulfilled, we are under no obligation to break down our invoice, or price match. If you want to go to court, let's do it. But understand you will have to pay my legal costs when you lose. Unless you have a summons for us there is no reason to contract us any further. ≈=====≈================= Your response contradicts what you previously emailed me. In that message, you stated you were under no obligation to provide a breakdown of the bill and even suggested I should sue you, telling me not to contact you again unless it was through a legal summons. This kind of conduct shows a lack of professionalism and respect for your customer. It comes across as someone more concerned with squeezing out another dollar than standing behind their work or communicating honestly. If I could give a zero star or negative star review I would.

  I had these guys come out to replace a shut off valve behind our toilet, which is a $20 part. My wife called me after they left and said it was $660.00. Which is absolutely insane. It took them less than 10 minutes once they started working. I called three other plumbing companies in my area after Aqua Wizards finished my job. $250, $300 and $300 were those quotes. I called them and asked if the owner John could call me back to explain why it was so high. I did not get a call back. I would also like to add this, my wife told me that it seemed like they were stalling so they were here longer. They talk about their dogs for a good 20 mins. They showed pictures of their dogs. My wife said they just wouldn't stop. It was awkward. They also told my wife that we would get a discount if we did the other toilets since the water is already turned off. It would be $1200 for the other toilets. It takes 2 seconds to turn the water off. They obviously took advantage . Call this company if you want to pay 3 times more than every other company. I've heard great thing about Citywide Plumbing. Check them out. They were the $250 quote I got.
