- JLJames Long2 days ago4.0Looks great, talked to Mason about maintenance (I unintentionally filled my filters of the other splitter with sawdust and burned it out)... one issue, since tge install the barns lights have been flickering, which upsets my wife. Calling to see if this is a simple fix.

- THTheresa Hern6 days ago5.0Royal Oak heating and cooling came out to the house to give me an estimate on a pretty complicated project of connecting ducts to run through a few bedrooms from the basement to the 2nd floor. The house is over 100years old and has many obstacles. Nathan was super creative and never once tried to push me to buying a whole new unit like most would. He was great about figuring out what we could do with what we have to be the most logical and efficient. He also came up with a phased plan for me for years down the road as well. Absolutely knowledgeable and trustworthy.

The estimate was crazy high, but I accepted it and signed the work order - my mistake! The resulting work was about 3 feet of new PVC pipe, it took about an hour, and it cost $778 ! I asked the tech about it, and ultimately called the service manager and asked whether that cost was correct. He said it was - that they use flat rate pricing. I asked whether the price was intended for something more complex, and not as simple as the task performed on my house. He assured me it was correct, and there was no flexibility on their part. So, this is a warning for the buyer to beware - I hope you can learn from my mistake in using this business! See photo - the amazing $778 ugly PVC exhaust vent!
