    Landmark was very quick to send a technician over to my home after I called the previous night with my problem. Shawn was very professional completing his work. He quickly troubleshot the issue I was having with the power loss in the room. He explained in simple terms the problem and what may have caused the issue. This was all done very efficiently and quickly. I can tell he had years of experience doing this type of electrical work. He listened to another issue that I was having and gave me a great solution for it. He gave me a very fair estimate, and I will be using his services. I definitely recommend Landmark Electric for anything electrical.

    Shawn and his apprentice worked 2 plus hours to fix our temporary issue. Scheduled the larger job for next week. Professional, courteous, answered our numerous questions explaining things in layman’s terms. THANK YOU!! Wrote up our estimate and explained the upcoming job and time frame needed. Very reassuring, so knowledgeable, put our minds at ease. We are very satisfied so far😊. Happy New Year!!!

    The Landmark guys came in and were able to quickly troubleshoot why the outlets on one side of my house were not working. Apparently, it was an issue with poor work from our builder where they used a shortcut for something. I was happy they were even willing to come out, as most electricians didn’t want to bother because the solution to many electrical issues is a quick fix. That was not the case here and I was grateful. I found Landmark on Thumbtack and will be using them again for any of our electrical needs in the future.

    The quality of the electrical work itself met my expectations, and communication prior to and during the early stages of the project was very good. Unfortunately, my experience took a significant downturn once the work was nearly complete. The agreement I signed clearly stated that “All change orders must be approved in writing.” After the initial estimate of roughly $5,300, I received a written change order for an additional $1,900, which I reviewed, approved, and signed. However, when the project was finished, I was billed a total of $8,300 — meaning $1,100 in charges were added without any written authorization from me. To make matters worse, the company had my card on file from the initial deposit and took it upon themselves to charge the final amount without my approval or permission. This left me no opportunity to review or dispute the unauthorized portion of the bill before payment was processed. I attempted to resolve this directly and called four separate times, speaking to the same customer service representative each time. She apologized and assured me a supervisor or manager would contact me by the end of the day, yet no one ever reached out. Each time I called back, I received the same apology and the same promise, with no follow-through. Additionally, the electrician was supposed to return the day after completion to remove all job-related debris. He never showed up, which forced another contractor I had hired to work around the mess until I called again to insist they return. Given the unauthorized charges, the drastic shift in customer service once the job was completed, and the repeated failures in communication, I expect the company to resolve this matter with me directly and honor the terms of their own agreement. Based on my experience, I cannot in good faith recommend this company due to these transgressions and their unethical billing practices.
