My grandson flushed Legos down the toilet and they got lodged in there causing it to back up. I called Hoover plumbing and Tyler came to fix the problem. Tyler walked us through step by step and kept us informed of the costs before proceeding . He retrieved the legos and cleared the line quickly. I will never call another plumbing company! He also gave us information about Hoover's affordable V.I.P. club that we will be joining. Tyler even left a video for my grandson, at my daughter's request, telling him to "never flush anything that doesn't come out of your body." Great experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tech was polite and professional, however he was not educated on the brand mini-split system I have at my home. He wanted me to wait and pay while he tried to get Fujitsu tech support on the phone. I urged him to test the pressure on the system, he listened and confirmed it was low. Then gave me a quote for $5000 to charge the system which is a crazy high price. I politely told him no thank you. $450 just for this diagnosis. I am glad I have alternate heating/cooling. Buyer beware this companies practices seem predatory. (I am not a Layman, Construction Professional for 30 years)

We had a gushing boiler leak and we called Hoover pretty early in the morning. Mackenzie picked up right away and she was so professional and completely understood the urgency. It immediately put us at ease. We were so surprised and happy that someone was there for emergencies. They sent someone very quickly who said he wasn’t the boiler expert, but he could patch it up so it stops leaking until David Dunlap arrived. David arrived shortly after and fixed it completely and got us the part we needed. The whole fix was completed by the very next day. We were very impressed with his professionalism, speed, and effectiveness. On another occasion, David found the source of an attic leak and we were then able to show our contractor where to fix it since it was not in an area that Hoover services. I have many more examples, too many to list. David consistently goes above and beyond and has basically become a hero in this household. From their impeccable notes to their front-desk professionals, Hoover is a class act. They honor their warranties and I suggest signing up for their VIP service, especially if you live in an older home.

Disappointed. I had an overheated furnace, so I called them and scheduled a visit. On the phone, they told me it would be $89, but when they showed up, there was an additional $149 diagnostic fee. What’s the points I called you over without diagnosis? This should be disclosed on the phone. After the technician checked the furnace, he said they didn’t know what was wrong with it and their best guess is blocked ductwork. And it would cost $1,200 just to inspect the ductwork. I called a different company the next day, and he fixed everything in 30 minutes for a total of $110. All it needed was a sensor cleaning and a fan speed adjustment. So I basically paid the this company $238 for nothing. Thank you very much.

I hired Hoover for a very expensive plumbing project in my home to replace all the original cast iron with pvc. I had issues with every person I dealt with at this company. First, the person who came over to give me an estimate. He quoted me for 50 feet and they ended up using almost 100, so about double the estimate. They only charged for 75' though. Thanks, I guess? Second, the plumbers who came over. They were much younger than the plumber who came to give the estimate. I put down an old doormat to protect my wood floor from the dirt and they removed it and were walking on the bare hardwood. They didn't put any protection of their own down except on the carpet. Their reasoning was they didn't want to ruin the mat I laid down but somehow thought walking on the hardwood with their dirty, muddy boots was better. They didn't put any protection on the walls either or clean up after so now I still have cement on my finished walls. Lastly, whoever was texting me on the phone from their office. Since this company was unwilling to accept a wire I had to split up this job across multiple credit cards. One of my cards got locked since I was using it so much and maxed it out. I told them it would be a couple weeks before it's unlocked and there was nothing I could do except send a wire, which they didn't want to accept. They couldn't wait and called me back before my card was unlocked. I told them to charge half of the remaining balance on a different card. They immediately charged the full balance remaining on my account, not half like I told them, and it put my credit card over the limit. I am very disappointed with the service I received. The plumbers are nice people and I enjoyed talking with them. I even bought them dinner for staying overtime to finish the job but I won't be using this company in the future and I wouldn’t recommend them.
