I was charged $1050 which included $600 for the tank and $350 for labor and $200 in miscellaneous costs. I received a quote from another well known and reputable company that was charging $680 for the same job. This included $400 for the exact same tank with the exact same 5 year warranty. Unfortunately by the time the other quote came in Berg Well drilling was already at my house doing the job. Normally I wouldn’t make a post like this but I find it very hypocritical that this company claims to be a “Christian” while supporting Christian values. They can claim all day that their warranty is somehow different, or they had extra driving time to the job site or they had incurred other unforeseen costs but the reality is they are simply overcharging their customers. They literally charged $350 dollars for labor and were at my house for a grand total of 45 minutes. (With this kind of hourly rate I should consider a different profession!) On a positive note I will say Bergwell’s original quote they gave over the phone matched what they actually charged. Unfortunately it happened to be 50 percent higher than two other well known companies in the area. Before going with them. (or anyone else) make sure to get a few comparable quotes before getting any work done. Berg Well Drilling definitely doesn’t stand for my idea of Christian values…I hope they remove anything related to Christianity from their website
