  BEWARE!!!!! Rude and incompetent employees. Tried selling me a new system and whined when I wanted to get a second opinion. Thankfully I did because the other company that came out was able to repair my unit for under $300. Don't waste your time calling these fools.

  Highly recommend if you need any sort of plumbing work. Just regular folks that aren't trying to upsell or stiff you. Had what turned out to be an issue with the plumbing vent on the roof that was caused by a roofing crew.

  We have used Puckett Heating & Cooling three different times, and going on a fourth. I met the owner at a gas station and asked for his card because we needed a furnace inspection for a house we were listing, not knowing they also serviced gas lines, which was another service we had needed. After digging on their website we saw they did do gas services and scheduled an appointment for the furnace inspection as well as gas line corrections on our house we listed. They were able to accommodate our needs quickly and efficiently. We then needed gas lines corrected at our new house, again, they were able to come our and service the needs quickly and efficiently. All services performed along with the customer service from all those we interacted with exceeded expectations. We now need our furnace at our new house to be fixed and I could not think of anyone else we would rather have come do the work on our house. The level of care, detail, and information provided was so stellar I even provided their contact information to our realtor to suggest to future or past clients in the surrounding area. I highly recommend if you need any services to be performed for heating, cooling, gas lines and more to give Puckett Heating & Cooling a call. They have phenomenal prices for the level of expertise and service they provide.

  My air conditioning was not cooling and I thought it was something to do with the refrigerant so I had them come out to look at it. He comes out and checks it, yep, low on refrigerant, so he starts pumping R-22 in. Once I notice that it's R-22 I stop him and say it's an R-410a unit, is it going to hurt anything to mix it? He says no, it'll be fine and that R-410a actually has R-22 in it, finishes filling it the rest of the way with R-410a, and heads out. I looked it up. Everything I could find says it's not ok (also, R-410a does not have R-22 in it), so I call another company and ask for their opinion. They say absolutely not, it's not ok, so I call the manufacturer. They say absolutely not, the two types have totally different properties and the lubrication could interfere with each other and damage my unit. They said that the fix would be draining the lines to a contamination vessel, replacing the filter drier, hard held vacuum, and refilling with the correct stuff. In their defense, they came the next day and did the warranty work (only draining the line to soft vacuum and replacing the R-410a, which I consider to be the least acceptable repair, but still). The reason this is a massive problem is if I hadn't watched him do it I would have never known my unit had the wrong refrigerant and if I hadn't checked afterwards I wouldn't have known they didn't mix. If I had trusted him at any point I would have just run it and had bad performance or worse, a broken unit. People make mistakes, but when I noticed he didn't fix it, he just mixed them. That means he either didn't know that the refrigerants can't mix, which means he shouldn't be working on air conditioners, or he didn't care, which means he shouldn't be working on anything at all. I'm extremely unsatisfied with my experience with this company.
