  This organization has done a great job for us for years and Joe always provides stellar service. In fact, my Mom has specifically requested Joe to be her HVAC tech for over a decade. Thank you Applegate for the outstanding service and performance and I highly recommend this company for any of your HVAC needs!

  I had blow in insulation to attic and walls done. From initial contact to getting an estimate thru to the actual installation staff were on the ball. This house is small but has some odd ball characteristics but everything got covered. In any transaction I keep an eye on rebates and refunds. Insulation has a tax rebate for 2025 ( that goes away in 2026 as part as Trump's Big Beautiful Bill) and Consumers Energy rebates a certain amount depending on what you invest. Plus I get $50 for letting them out a yard sign out for two weeks. All in all a fairly good experience.

  I was very happy with Applegate's response time and service. We're new to the northern states and aren't used to having a "heating season" or furnaces. So, when the temperature dropped to the low forties and we noticed the house was getting colder and colder, we were a bit panicked. This was only the beginning of the cold season and we're used to the winter being an average of 70. Only took one cold night before I was on the phone calling Applegate for help. It was after hours, so I left a message asking for some help when they were open again. A little while later, I got a call from an after hours technician named Brian. Brian walked me through some troubleshooting steps to see if we could get it working, but came to the conclusion that it was something that needed an in person technician. Brian was extremely helpful and the whole call was very educational. Learned more about my furnace on that short call than in any searching I did. Since it was late, I opted to still wait till the next day to have a tech come out. The next morning, Applegate gave me a call and scheduled a tech to come out that very morning. Chris, our technician, called me before showing up and was there promptly. Chris quickly diagnosed the issue while answering a bunch of my questions. Issue was a clogged drain in the furnace that was tripping a safety sensor and not allowing the furnace to light. Chris got that cleaned out as well as performing routine maintenance on other parts on the furnace so we would be set for this winter. Took about thirty minutes. Chris also took the time to explain other aspects of my system, such as the air cleaner and the humidifier. I am very happy with the service provided and look forward to having Applegate maintain my heating and cooling in the future.
