- BGBill GordonFeb 9, 20264.0I purchased a Carrier furnace from Family Heating & Cooling because they had the best price, are located close to my home, and I’ve had good service from them in the past. The installation took about 6 hours and was completed on time. Unfortunately, the furnace stopped working after about 2 hours. I called them the next morning, and a technician came out within 3 hours, which I really appreciated. He spent a little over an hour troubleshooting and fixing the issue. At first, he thought the problem was related to the Ecobee wireless setup and adjusted the wiring, but then he found the real issue—a screw blocking the motor. Once that was fixed, the furnace ran perfectly. While it was frustrating to have an issue with a brand-new furnace, their quick response and thorough repair made things right. Overall, I’m happy with the service and the furnace is running great now.
- JJJFeb 6, 20261.0Paid 10k and we have failed our inspection with the city twice now. Causing us to have to be home when heating company comes then again when the city comes. I don’t have time to make sure I am home for these dumb appointments that should have been done correctly the first time. Family heating and cooling has no urgency when I call them to say we have failed. The first time we failed, I took the time out of my busy schedule to call family heating and cooling month after month to see when they were going to come out but every time I called they were confused on what is going on and did not care to send anyone out. This is not okay!
