  I’ve struggled whether or not to post this review, but after some research, and finding out that the Randazzo family does not own this anymore, I’m not hesitant at all. This is long, so hold on. I’m incredibly upset at the quote and interaction my mom had with them. Here’s why: My dad passed away about 3 years ago. They had a generator installed back in 2014-ish, by Randazzo’s as best as we can tell. Dad took good care of the house and the generator until about a year prior to his passing when he was struggling with some health issues. Us kids all chip in to help, but the generator sort of slipped our minds cause it was reliable and worked great. A few months ago it quit doing its normal cycle, and we realized probably needed some service. Mom had a card for Randazzo’s attached to some documentation for the generator and called them out. It was ~100 for them just to come out and evaluate the unit. No service, just to evaluate. My mom is an incredibly trusting person, and so when they handed her a quote for $3300 !!!! (yes, you read that right, and the technician also mentioned it was getting close to time to replace it, and the could give her some good end of year deals 🙄🙄🙄) she told them to go ahead with the service quote. I’m extremely thankful they couldn’t do it that day, and that she called me. I had her waive off the service, to get a second opinion. Shame on you Randazzos. Straight cash grab, taking advantage of a 80 year old woman who knows little about these things because her husband used to handle these things for her. Massive shout-out to Osburn services, who came out and got her running for $423, which included a battery change, oil and filter and sparks. Generator is back to running like a champion now. I won’t comment on the quality of their work, since we didn’t have any work done, but I certainly won’t be recommending them or sending any work their way, not when they apparently are accustomed to taking advantage of customers in this way. Shame on you.

  I had a general furnace maintenance check up and new basic thermostat installed. Jacob was on time and very good! He showed me how the new thermostat worked and I will have Randazzo back in the Spring to install a new ☀️ ac unit✨️ Thank you Jacob😊

  The after hours service fee was high considering the nature of the situation(Saturday)and the current weather in Michigan. The diagnosis given I later found out it wasn’t the source of my problem. The tech or the company he represents used what I shared or thought was the issue to overcharge me $600 for a part I didn’t even need.Thank GOD Google was able to help me solve the issue without spending more than the $200. The 1 star given was for the promptness of arrival.

  Your employees should slow down on icy and snowy roads. One was tailgating me on big lake rd in clarkston, MI. I pulled into my friends and as I was leaving later, they cane back the other way going way too fast. They will not be able to stop on thlse roads safely. They are gonna total your van or kiil someone.

  I'm going to be as fair as possible with them. I splurged for a larger unit in the 7k+ range last month, and the installers did a good job, they were prompt, professional, cleaned up, etc. Everything was pretty straight forward (did I mention fast), they explained things yadda yadda. Heater appears to work fine. There was some noise so they sent someone back out to adjust seals two weeks later, I guess some sort of pressure when it gets real cold not a big deal and that guys was professional/nice as well. I held off on this review just to make sure things were good. Sadly, because of the larger unit, they had to redo or add some piping to the outside and didn't seal it properly so we ended up with some new visitors we've never had before (Mice) not even a month later that the exterminator just handled and he noticed it wasn't sealed properly. Now I'm out another 5-600$ + however long to ensure it's not a large population already, due to it being poorly sealed on the outside. As I said, I'm being extremely generous/fair sigh.
