  So much for "available 24 hr" service. I called them first because I got water coming out of a wall....it's Saturday morning...they said "sorry, we can schedule a visit to diagnose Monday". My meter is moving and won't wait for Monday. Had to shut off water to the whole house and call someone else. 2 disabled senior citizens left high & dry.

  I had the pleasure of working with Josh and his colleague. They were effecient, througough, pleasant to work with! They took their time, and got the issue resolved. I also work with Connor who was also efficient and explained things thoroughly! Gave me some great prices to work with, and was pleasant! 10/10 recommend their service!

  My situation is a work in progress, so I can only speak on the consultation aspect of things. I had a situation that required rerouting drain piping. And Jake was very helpful with assessing things once he had all the details of the issue. He presented some tentative options for me to consider. I appreciated his professionalism and knowledge regarding my drainage issue. He represented Michigan Plumbing very well.

  We had an excellent experience with Michigan Plumbing. They replaced a soil stack and pressure jetted our line out to the road, clearing tree roots—both done with excellence. The cost was exactly as estimated, and we saved a significant amount compared to another well-known company that quoted more than double and tried to upsell unnecessary work. Michigan Plumbing was honest about what was actually needed. They were friendly and professional throughout. Everything was clearly explained, all questions answered, and they confirmed I understood what was being done before moving forward. They left the area clean and made sure everything was working properly before leaving. This will be the only plumbing company we call going forward—they truly exceeded our expectations.

  November 2025 they snaked my main drain, the tech ran a 75ft auger and I know its 100ft to the road, which is where all the tree roots are. I should have made them run a longer auger but I didn't. It was on a saturday and cost $369. So here we are March 2026 and my main drain is backed up again. I requested they make sure to bring 100ft auger and get all the way to the road this time, which they did... for $466 during regular business hours.. So when they say they dont charge extra for after hours / weekend / emergencies, that's why. They just charge everyone premium rates all the time even during business hours. The price went up by $100 in 4 months time for a straight forward job that takes them 30 mins to do. That's criminal, especially when they should have ran an auger all the way to the road when they were here 4 months ago. If you have extra money to burn and are in a pinch, use them. I definately can't afford to use them anymore.
