Luckily for us the door and parts are covered under warranty with another company. He gave his recommendation and even showed me how to contact the correct company for repairs. I greatly appreciate his honesty as I was unaware of the lifetime warranty. Highly recommend!
- LPLynn Perry4 days ago5.0I cannot say enough good things about A1 garage, and more specifically Jazen Hearse. Jazen worked with my schedule, was professional and very knowledgeable. He took his time and showed me what the problem was and how to fix it. He offered me different options to see what would best work in my budget. He was very kind and patient . I ran into a problem, and Jazen called his manager Cesar, who helped me out a great deal and is very understanding and helpful. I booked A1, and then the next day, was a tad nervous because I have read some reviews that were not so great. Thank goodness, I had not experienced anything negative even if I tried to nitpick, I could not think of one thing to put as a con. I had stellar service. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends or family

It took him a couple of hours to complete the job, and he made sure that every i was dotted and t was crossed. He answered questions and made sure to tell me information that I didn't know to ask about. We really appreciate Ian's work!
- SSSean Spence5 days ago2.0Jazen did a great installing our new motor/operator. But where my issue remains, I asked Jazen about labor cost. The price for a premium opener seems very high in comparison to our selected model bought through a certain internet vendor. If it was built in to the cost of the operator like I was told, labor was over $200 an hour to install. There was some parts and labor cost on the invoice, but if that was the case it wouldn’t be enough. The customers need a better breakdown of what actually is going into the cost of the equipment you buy. $1600 for an operator based on invoice and the internet is 2-3 times cost for what it should be. Customers should be also able to gauge initial costs over the phone on the initial call. Never should a customer be told to check reddit or the internet for costs. Because if we did that, thats what lead me to believe I just got ripped off or prices for this equipment and service has doubled if not tripled in a year. I probably wouldn’t recommend this place and would encourage people to call not just two places, but probably five for quotes.
- AAalan aldworthNov 9, 20255.0Lou was very professional and efficient. The installation cost was reasonable. We had the garage door opener replaced. We purchased the garage door opener ourselves from Home Depot. The price quoted for the unit from A1 was significantly higher than buying direct from Home Depot. A1 was happy to let us buy unit ourselves and install it. If they charged a reasonable markup over retail I think most customers would be happy to pay that for the convenience.
