We were thrilled to work with ACME Exteriors on repairs for bathroom window. While updating our tub and shower, we found additional water damages. The ACME team was understanding, professional, responsive, and clearly took pride in making sure everything was repaired properly after we discovered the damage. The finished result looks great, and now we have tremendous peace of mind that our project is complete and will last us for a long time. I’ve included photos of the work. Thank you ACME Exteriors! We look forward to working with ACME again on our next project!

Hired ACME to reposition gutters on the front of my house to help with drainage. Scheduling was easy and they came out promptly. I worked with Nick who was incredibly professional and very easy to work with. The team did a wonderful job and they took my feedback very respectfully and had no problem making changes to get things to look great. Would recommend them and will plan to use them for future projects.
Frequently Asked Questions About Acme Home Exteriors
what is ACME
Contact our office by phone, email or text. We will contact you to discuss your project a little more in detail and schedule a time to take a look on site. We are able to create an estimate priced specifically to a customer's project.
Do we have to be out of the house when you are replacing the roof?
No, You are able to remain in the home during most any project. A customer will be warned of the noise that is expected for the duration of the project.
Can I remove ice from my roof?
A customer can attempt to remove the ice, but it is better to have someone who handles it frequently help remove the ice. Ice can fall from the roof and be very dangerous.
What are ice dams?
Ice dams are when snow melts due to heat loss and freezes again at a cold spot on the roof, usually the eave. When a dam has formed and the temperatures rise, melting the rest of the snow water will build up behind the ice dam and can potentially back up under the shingles causing leaking into the home.
How do you calculate the amount of shingles I will need for my roof?
We will either hand measure and/or use New technology with pictures and satellite image to find the square footage of your home and then add a waste factor depending on the structure of your roof.
What kind of ventilation can I use on my roof?
Ventilation can come in many different methods and is specifically designed for different roofing structures. Some ventilation methods include Ridge Vents, Can Vents, Gable Vents. Calculations should be used to determine the type and amount of ventilation used for your roof along with an inspection of the attic and eave ventilation, in order to protect and prolong the lifetime of the roof.
Should I paint my house before siding takes place?
No, Siding does not need to be painted before siding is installed. Some types of siding is removed to expose the home's walls and start fresh for the installation of house wrap. Different types of siding can be left on, and siding will be installed over the top of it. Painting the home before will not help protect the home anymore as it will be covered with a protective barrier.
Will siding crack or fade?
Vinyl siding is very durable and will not crack or break easily. Siding will fade over time, however, siding manufacturers have greatly improved their products to resist fading over much greater lengths of time and are warrantied against severe fading. Most brands carry Limited Lifetime Warranties against Cracking and Fading.
How often do I need to replace siding?
A quality vinyl siding should last around 30 years
Is a full siding job the only option?
Siding doesn’t always have to be in the form of full replacement. If you have damage in an area you may decide just to replace a section. We will be able to match as closely as possible to the existing siding and repair the damage. Another option is if you are simply looking to add some flavor to your existing siding. We can install different material in certain areas to give your home new life.
What siding material do you recommend using?
Vinyl is the type of siding used mainly in our region of the country. It is durable, long lasting, and an affordable option. Advancements in technology have opened up many color options to completely transform your home's appearance.
Is there Maintenance involved after a siding job?
Depending on the siding chosen for the home there is minimal maintenance to most. Vinyl siding will pick up dust from the air and can get moss and mildew buildup in areas often left damp due to lack of vegetation cover or the direction the home faces. There are products to help remove those with simple spray on and wash off methods.
My home was damaged by hail, what is the turn time to fix this?
After any damage to your home you will need someone to temporarily fix the situation to ensure the interior of the home does not see any damage. Tarps, flashing, and exterior sealant are quick temporary fixes until the roofing materials can be replaced for a long term solution.
I got my check from the insurance adjuster for hail damage, now what?
Time to choose a local roofing contractor you trust.
Will you work with my insurance company to help me move forward with my roofing job?
We will work with insurance adjusters to take some of the stress off of the customer. We have developed relationships with insurance adjusters to try and make this negative situation as painless as possible.
What sets you apart from your competition?
We are a team of experienced builders and problem solvers. It’s not about selling a cookie cutter product or the latest greatest, it’s about finding a solution that works best for your specific home.
