  Dan worked patiently with me to source our birch hard wood to match the existing floor. His installers took the time to properly acclimate the wood before starting, and completed the job in less time than expected. BCF did a quality job in a timely manner at a reasonable price-- I highly recommend!

  Came to Builders Custom Flooring on a referral. My wife and I just bought dream home and excited to update carpet. Things pretty odd from the start, older gentleman was helping us and informed us price included padding and labor, after getttign the invoice we learned this is not the truth. We eventually sat down with Dan who spent most of the time complaining about his wife and his home storage issues. We shared our ideal timeline, and he assured he could accommodate it. Don't want to get into all the details but the date of said install was not met causing me to delay our movers, was also not informed of the length of time the job would take. The installation was not great, the workers left an absolute mess and didn't do a good job installing. I had to have them come back out to fix a spot and still am having issues with the carpet pulling up. I also feel I was taken advantage off and am paying for areas I did not get carpeted. I have asked multiple times for the measurements of the rooms and what I paid for and they haven't shared any of it. They originally charged me for rooms we did not want done and it took some effort to get this removed from the price.

  The store had what we were looking for. We wanted to match our existing wood floor as closely as possible. Since our existing flor was finished on site they explained that any pre finished product would not match the existing floor. We went with a red oak finished on site. We were fortunate that we had a sample of the finish used on the existing floor. The installers were great. They answered any questions I had and even took the molding home to finish so they could finish the job. They also went over the floor on their hands and knees to check the quality of the finish. They didn't like the finish after the second coat so they re-sanded and added a third coat of finish. Even though it took four days to complete the job we did not feel inconvenienced.
