How do I get a bin on my property?
Being a host site brings many benefits for your business. We would like to keep business endeavors on a professional level. Please call us to arrange a meeting with our knowledgeable staff.
If I no longer want the bin, how do I have it removed?
If you come to a decision to remove a bin, we would like to first try and resolve any issues you may be encountering. However, if you are certain of your decision, we ask that you call with a 30-day notice and we will have it out within that 30-day period.
If I am a non-profit, can I get customized bins?
Midwest Recycling is a professional fundraising venue for non-profit organizations. It would be our pleasure to work with you to design a collection bin or program in which you can collect revenue for recyclable textiles.
Can I get a receipt for a tax credit?
Your donations are valuable to each partner for the maintaining and running of their organization. However, items gathered via these bins do not qualify as a charitable donation. If you are looking for a receipt for tax credit, we would suggest contacting the organization directly. However, some are not able to use the clothing.
How can I get my donation directly to a charity of my choice?
If you have a particular donation for a charity to use explicitly, please contact them directly. All partners are listed on the “Partners” tab. Donations that are placed in our collection bins are a means for raising funds directly for that charity.
What types of items am I allowed to place in the bins?
Acceptable donation items include clothing, shoes, purses, curtains, textiles, and small household items.
