Called Russell's when they opened at 8am and had a very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly technician here by 9am. After replacing the failed part, the furnace ran like a top and the house was to temperature by 10:15am and hadn't even dropped below 60°. Extremely fast service with spectacular service technician. Will highly recommend!
- JVjake vischDec 19, 20251.0Carbon Monoxide detectors going off Tuesday 11/25 - fire department came out and got 60 ppm: Had a guy come Monday 12/1 and couldn't find the issue. Charged $315.00 to come out and look at it for 2 hours and not find the cause and no direction to move forward. We obviously have an intermittent issue that needs to be addressed. That week, I spoke with Kristen in the office 2 maybe 3 separate times asking for a quote for A) new hot water heater and B) new furnace with moving to the basement including moving ductwork (big job and takes time-I understand). She said they are busy but will give me a call. It is now 12/19 (almost 3 weeks later) and never received a call or email with a quote for either the water heater or the furnace. Carbon Monoxide detector went off again 12/10. Called a different company and found it to be exhaust fumes from the propane water heater getting sucked back into the house due to negative pressure in house when running the dryer and bathroom vents. Addressed the pressure issue and had a new electric water heater installed 2 days later 12/12 (old heater was 25 years old).
