  They installed a system for my dad and never cleaned up their mess on the floor left stick black filler globs on the floor and even with a shopvac in our basement near the instllation area they never bothered to use it. They put tape on the ducts that doesn't stick, they cracked the flue cap with the screws, they left a hanger they didn't use on the rafter board, they left debri on top of the water heater and joints should have been taped. I was more concerned with the flue cap not being taped because of the cracks where the screws went in, the gases should escape into the basement.

  Dan and Rick from the electrical department were prompt and professional! They were able to complete the necessary electrical updates in my home to make my whole house vacuum system functional again.   I've been a customer of Family for many years, across multiple homes, and they have always been reliable and provided high quality service at the most competitive prices. In a time when reliability, trust, and quality seem difficult to find, I always turn to Family for my heating, cooling, and electrical needs. As always, they did a fantastic job of replacing the electrical panel in my home at a price that was lower than all of their competitors. The technicians, Lance and Justin, were extremely professional, courteous, and treated me like family, and my home like their own. In my opinion, actions always speak much louder than words, and Family Heating, Cooling & Electrical always stand behind their words. I highly recommend them for any heating, cooling, or electrical needs !!

  In June 2025 I purchased a furnace and central air at a quoted price of $9,000 +. I had problems with the installation, they had to come back three times and finally got it right to pass a city inspection. They tried to go back on their quoted price and bill me a $120.00 more. You can guess what I said. Two weeks ago a switch on the furnace went bad. It was Friday night and I finally got another company to fix it. This company said the switch was installed wrong. Cost me $200. Family Heating refuse to honor their warranty. I’ve bought over 100 furnaces during the course of my business and this is the worse company I’ve ever dealt with. I only went with them because my realtor recommended them. Never again.
