- MMMorgan McDaniel3 days ago5.0HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Needed to resolve a plumbing issue that went unfixed after using a different company. Both techs (Noah & Logan) that performed work were courteous, professional, extremely thorough and explained and provided options to remedy the situation. Ultimately, they were able to fix the issue at a very affordable price. Will definitely use them for future plumbing needs.

Recommended changing a small pipe section for a gas leak and he stated the cost would be $200-$300, which I originally declined. Upon further consideration, I called back with a request for service which the company gracefully accommodated the same day to replace the 2 inch long pipe section. Upon completion, I was told the cost was $675. Questioning the huge difference, the technician proceeded to say that I automatically approved the cost by requesting the appointment and that he guessed the replacement cost wrong that morning. Also stated “they” added a $99 service fee to the bill which he later removed but wasn’t going to disclose. The worst yet, the only resolution offered was that he could put back the faulty part, as he wasn’t going to do the work for the price discussed in the morning. Second offence on pricing with this company.
- TBTamara Barber4 days ago5.0I would 100% recommend Thornton & Grooms for your HVAC installation. From making the appointment to the install of my furnace and A/C unit was 5 star service. I had my installation done in November 2025. It started out that I caught the furnace inspection deal so I can get my furnace checked out. Stephen C. came out to inspect my furnace and he was so very nice and knowledgeable and apologetic that he had to give me the bad news that I needed a new furnace. So, Brian M., the sales rep, came out and again very knowledgeable about the products they sell and very professional. Then Kevin C. and Matthew B. came out to do the install of the furnace and A/C unit. They were very professional. Kevin C. made sure he explained everything and if I had any questions to feel free to ask him. Kevin and Matthew cleaned their areas before they left. I had no complaints throughout the whole process. Thornton & Grooms sent texts and pictures of whom were coming to your home. From start to finish, the professionalism and courtesy from every member I had to encounter were EXCELLENT. I just had my city inspection done and everything was fine. I will definitely recommend Thornton & Grooms for your HVAC needs.

He's punctual, reliable, patiently explaining the problem, how he's fixing it, and how it can be prevented in the future. If you've found contractors to be either dishonest or unwilling to give you a reasonable estimate for work, call Thornton & Grooms and ask for Steve Clark. You will be satisfied with his service and demeanor!
- JDJeffrey DellDec 30, 20251.0I called to schedule an appointment for drain cleaning. Before she scheduled it, she charged my credit card. Once she looked at the schedule, she wasn't able to accommodate me that day. Its now almost a week later and I don't see the reversal of the charge on my credit card. I called and now I'm told it will take 7 business days for the refund. Once he looked it up, it wasn't even entered to refund my money. In addition, I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to get this resolved. The first time I called, it said I would be the next caller. Then after 10 minutes a recording came on asking me to leave a message and someone would get back to me the next business day. Maybe in the future they should check the schedule first before taking a customers money. The system they have in place doesn't seem very customer friendly.
