  I had called this company three months ago because my furnace quit working, we were in negative degree weather so I needed someone now at the time. They came out he said it was the ignitor they fix it. The guy that came out was Nick. He also gave me his card and told me to call him personally it’ll be cheaper next time. 6 weeks later goes out again, not knowing about the warranty I called him personally, he comes out once again but not under company time and says it’s the ignitor once again fixes it. 2 weeks later my furnace stops working again, which is today.. I called reckingers, this company and they wanted to charge me for labor but not the part even though the back of the business card says 1year warranty for labor and parts. I ended up calling another company and got it fixed. It was the ignitor once again. But the parts from this company(reckingers) did not look good/new. Even the new company that came out today to service my furnace was saying no way it was a new part looking the way it did. Be careful on who you choose, I’m just sharing my experience.

  Do not waste your time. This is the worst company in the history of the United States. The receptionist is awful and rude. She is very, difficult to understand but makes it a point to blame everyone who has any concerns or questions. One day I called, and she started shouting, saying “you need a tune up”over and over. My furnace was less than a year old, as I explained ,she became angrier. After going back and forth she finally sent a technician who said it was Reckingers mistake. There was an automated safety hazard issue and the heat was not turning on and it was -14 outside. Finally, The technician did all the repairs.i have called this company 7 times to repair their mistake and the city of Dearborn made them come back to fix pipes that were not up to code. Very dangerous. Be careful!!!!! Wayne metro was very helpful in assisting me, but this company does not deserve accounts. Do not call them! They charged me 164.00 for a service call to change batteries on the thermostat that I paid for. He said he charged for a service call and a half hour of work. He entered at 12:05 and left at 12:20, I gave him batteries and he put the batteries in the thermostat that’s it!!!!

  Reckingers always gets the job done when I call. .. very efficient and has helped tremendously in my time and others... couldn't get heat to work.. came over and did a couple things.. now everything is good.. thanks Reckingers I recommend to everyone if you want the job done right!!!
